Unexpected expectations

I went to my room and closed the door. What do I do? What do I do? I sat on the edge of the bed and buried my face into my hands.

Alpha Jacob will convince Xander that I'm a murderer. I've killed before-but not innocent people, not my own parents.

I went to Liam's office, I could tell him. He would help me. I knocked on the door and no one was there.

I was frustrated. A guard - the very guard I nearly snap in half during my escape from the dungeons appeared.

"Beta Liam is gone away on pack business. He won't be back for another two weeks. Do you need anything? "

Two weeks? I am restless! I know what happened to my parents and I can't tell anyone for the next two weeks. I am helpless.

That night I couldn't sleep. This room haunted me. The bathroom tub stood adjacent to my bed. Memories of how week I was flooded my mind and chaos spun around me. I couldn't breath, it was like I was in the tub again. I sat upright and then I heard him - Alpha Jacob's voice. I got up from my bed, I was sweating and my heart was racing.

I swallowed slowly and I was afraid again. His voice turned from whispers to loud echos as I moved towards the window.

"Rebecca.If you tell Xander you might as well have signed your death warrant. Remember what I told you when we last met, Remember! ", his dry voice said. It was coming from my head but got louder as I walked towards the window. I looked outside and nothing was there... and then I looked down and I saw my parent's dead bodies piled on top of each other. Blood and maguts all around them. Their eyes were wide open. I tried calling out for help but I was mute. I couldn't speak I tried and tried to scream but nothing happened. I turned around and Alpha Jacob was coming towards me with his claws bloodied. I panicked and threw a glass vase at him. All the pieces flew onto the floor and I realised that I was hallucinating.

I was sweaty and my face was wet from all the tears. I was horrified. Alpha Jacob killed my parents for power. I was sure of it. I just needed to prove it to Xander.

The next day I was on edge. I needed a release.

I'm not going to Lyra today... my parents were murdered by my own uncle. I can not and will not stand by and mop floors while Alpha Jacob roams freely... our mate can wait.- I told grace and she agreed.

I need a release - an escape from all this tension. I went to the training room and every guard who was training stopped what they were doing and looked at me. Their stares burned into my skin.

I saw the guard I nearly snap into two again. He walked up to me.

"Now you're an omega. Want to have a go. No weapons this time. ", he smirked at me.

"Try to keep up. ", I smiled at him.

This was good - this was a distraction.

He came towards me and I grabbed him and threw him down. His back hit the floor and he coughed. He kicked me while he was down and I fell. He through me against the wall and I slid against the wall and hit my back. I ran up to him and kneed him. I maneuvered my arm around his cheats cavity and dropped him onto the floor. I wrapped my arm around his neck skillfully and with one move he could have died.

"Beat you again! ", I laughed and let go of him.

He was sucking in air.

"Damn, for a rogue you sure as hell fight like an Alpha. ", I reached my arm out and helped him up. I was in a long Nike tights and Nike crop top.

"Well as a rogue, I had to fend for myself. Whose next? ", I asked.

Eventually I blew of some steam and won all training fights against all the guards who took a chance with me.

"My turn, Little Rouge. Let's put a wager on this fight. If I win, you tell me why you were so concerned about the story I told you and you become an omega not only to Lyra but this entire pack. ", Xander stood behind me.

"If I win, I want my old room back and I want my rank lifted. ", I shot at him.

The nightmares and the tub added to my paranoia and insomnia.

"Changing your room I can do but the ranks stay and besides you asked for the room first in this wager, you can't have your bread buttered on both sides. "

"Are you sure I can hold you to your word? ", I asked carefully.

"Look around you, we are surrounded by my pack guards. What kind of alpha would lie in front of his men? ", he had a point.

I nodded.

I gazed at him. He threw a punch and I dodged it. I kicked his chest and he didn't even move. Everyone laughed.

He punched again and I moved but he connected with my jaw. I grabbed his arm and twisted it. I kneed him while twisting his arm and dropped him to the ground.

"Is that all you got, Alpha? ", I smirked.

"I was going easy on you.", he moved his leg so fast and hit my leg. I fell back first. He was walking towards me and I pushed my legs onto his chest and jumped over him. I jumped on his back and dropped him down skillfully so that he fell hard and I landed on top of him.

Close contact again... I looked at him and our eyes locked. I punched his jaw and he whinced, slightly. I grabbed his arms but he was too quick for me. He turned me and pinned me between his legs.He crouched down so that we were in close proximity and held me down. I couldn't move my arms and legs. There was no way in hell that was loosing and becoming a full-time omega so I did the unbelievable... I bent forward slightly and kissed him roughly, He didn't expect it and his grip loosened. His eyes softened and he grazed my lip slightly while I kissed him.

I took the opportunity to knock him of me and hold his neck.

"I win. ", I said out of breath due to our kiss and the manuver I just pulled.

"You cheated.", he looked at me shocked and out of breath as well.

" I'm a rogue. Now a deal is a deal. ", I smiled in excitement. I felt like he was going easy on me because I was a she-wolf but who cares? I won!

He rolled his eyes and within the next few moments I was allowed to vacate back to my old room.

This is a fresh start. No bad memories in this room just peace and quiet.
