She stood still. She looked at me as if I were just a figment of her imagination. Her eyes widened and she let out a laugh of relief between her sobs. Karina came in the room to see why Storm was crying and she bowed at me and took Anna away.

Storm hadn't changed -her hair was longer and she wore Liam's baggy shirt -other than that she was still my best friend. She stepped forward and hugged me so tight as of I was a soldier returning from war.

"I thought I lost you! ", she cried and I cried too. I missed her - she was my partner in crime.

"I'm sorry or leaving you - I - ", I was lost for words.

"I would have done it too of I were in your shoes... I understand. ", she hugged.

I needed her to say this she always knew how to make me smile.

She broke away from our hug and stared at me.

"Your ass looks better that the last time. ", she laughed with tears rolling down her face.She was trying to lighten the mood.

She was still Storm.

"Your boobs are huge. ", I laughed.

"Two kids. ", she pointed behind her and I laughed.

"Anna is just the sweetest. ", I wiped my tears and she sat down.

"I thought I was never going to see you again. ",she spoke.

"Me too-", I was in the middle if my sentence when the door opened.

"Honey-you won't ever believe what Xander did today - he actually went into the room he shared with Becca I was so -", Liam walked in closing the door behind him. His face went pale and he looked from me to Storm and back to me.

He took a deep breath and whispered something under his breath.

"Raccoon? ", he Saud so softly that I could barely listen.

I nodded. He used my nickname.

His eyes lightened.

He threw his bag in the floor and embraced me Storm joined in and made it a group hug. I teared up. I missed this. I missed having my people around.

"My sister -you came back. ", he was gleaming. He was over the moon.

"I did. ", I spoke.

"We never stopped thinking about you -Xander he -he never slept in the room without you. ", he still hugged me.

I damaged him, I hurt him, I hurt everyone by leaving.

"I'm so relieved that you're safe and home ", he said and we broke away from the group hug.

"How did he find you -he never stopped trying you know. ", Storm asked.

Liam and Storm Sat next to me on either end.

"He bumped into on the streets in Sweden. I went out with work colleague -she was sweet, and I needed some air. I was walking around a curb when I literally just walked into his chest. ", I explained.

They gasped.

"He didn't even know you were there! He was looking for Jacob -wait this means that Jacob was watching you. ", Liam added.

"It was fate! the mate bond is powerful! ", Storm cheered like a teenager and cupped her hands together.

"We've been working things out since then.", I added.

"That explains it all then. ", Liam said and I was puzzled.

"Explains what? ", I asked. Storm gave Liam a look as she was also puzzled.

"He went into your room, He cancelled today's dinner with the council, he cleared his work schedule for the next five days and he smiled! All because he found you. ", Liam put one and one together.

"He smiled? ", Storm gasped.

Liam nodded.

"I broke him didn't I...? ", I teared up.

Storm hugged me and liam gave me a sympathetic look.

"Well, when you left and left behind only a letter, his world went dark. He never slept in your room - he overworked himself. When Anna was born he was so happy and he said 'I wish she were here to celebrate with me. ' - when you left on coronation it broke him. ", Storm added.

"We love you, we understood why you did it. You wanted to safeguard all of us. I saw your face when Nirvana spoke about life before it lived. When Storm held her stomach. I knew you wouldn't allow your loved ones to suffer. Especially Xander. When you left, Xander dismissed everyone and he sentenced Kiara to life imprisonment - all her followers too. ", Liam added.

His last blood relative...

"He buried himself in work and refused to do anything without you. We were afraid that one day -", Storm stopped in her tracks. She closed her eyes and whinced as if it were too painful to say.

"That he'd harm himself?", I completed her sentence. I suddenly felt weak knowing I could drive him to such lengths.

She nodded.

"Fill me in on your life for the past three years would yah. ", Storm said.

I paused to gather my thoughts.

"A lot of traveling, no socialising, I was alone and so cold... I got a job and an apartment - I even learnt to paint... it provided solace. I was your average working class human. ", I said.

"What about you two? ", I asked.

"We had two kids. Anna and Rylan. We basically live around Barbie and Barney. ", Liam spoke.

Storm chuckled.

I was happy that they continued with their lives when I wasn't here.I smiled.

"I joined the council. I'm such a badass now. ", Storm added.

"You were always a badass. ", Liam smirked.

"I know baby, I know. ", she added.

I tried to hide between their seductive flirting session and started laughing.

"I missed both of you everyday. ", I sighed.

"We missed you too.", Storm added.
I smiled.

"Did you non Storm went into labour two days after you left? ", Liam added.

"it's fine, Liam. ", Storm didn't want him to tell me something.

"Tell me. "

"I went into labour two days after you left. A month earlier. The doctor said it was because of the stress from looking you. ", Storm whispered.

I teared up. Anna was one month pre-mature... because of me.

I hugged Storm tightly.

"I'm so sorry Strom... I shouldn't have. ", I cried.

She lifted my head up and wiped my tears. She smiled.

"It's ok. I told you, I understand.", she made sure I wasn't crying.

"Liam had to hold me most nights. I couldn't sleep without knowing that you were ok. "

"I'd tell her that Becca is a fighter and a survivor - she's ok. ", he held Storm and kissed her cheek.

I really really did miss them... I hurt everyone by leaving. I see that now and I need to make it up to them
