The Rise of The Royal Rogue

Fire sisters.

No one has ever seen or at least been in the presence of a fire sister - many people thought it was a rumour and they were ghosts- it was absurd and a ludicrous thought to think that wolves could communicate with the moon goddess, yet here they were... a ghost standing before us. They there was an eerie calm about their presence. Everyone stood still - even Xander!

I suddenly felt odd and self-conscious.

"King Xander, "the uncloaked women spoke sternly as a form of greeting, "I am sister Nirvana - the oracle of the fire sisters. "

She needed to work on her bedside manners. That was all she needed to say for people to justify their allegations.

Xander stepped forward. He tensed up and spoke using the voice of alpha - stern, serious and concerned.

"Sister Nirvana, what brings you here? No one has seen or heard of a fire sister except from books. ", he referred to the stories we tell children.

"We never had a reason to come into society before - we are of a peaceful existence. We want one thing. ", she replied.

"That being? ", Xander replied. Liam walked towards Xander and stood beside him. It was natural of the beta to protect his alpha.

"We want her! ", Sister Nirvana demanded.

"The queen is not going anywhere! ", Xander said angrily. He almost bared his teeth but calmed down.

I felt the sharp pain and heard screams again. This time is was louder and more piercing.

A woman screamed out for help at the top of her lungs. I whinced and brought my fingers to my index finger. The pain was excruciating. I could feel her pain - she was being torn apart and burned alive. I could hear her cries. I sobbed in pain and everyone turned to face me. I looked up to see the rest of the sisters uncloaked. They had burnt skin and it quickly healed. What on earth? Xander rushed to my side to support me.

"What's happening? ", Xander asked me but I could not reply because of the pain.

"It is true, Sisters - the queen feels Sister Olivia's absence - she must die before the king falls. ", sister Nirvana said with a calmed voice.

There's that word again - falls... the whispers were Sister Nirvanas!

Xander, Liam and a few other guards and alphas stepped forward to protect me.

"You will not touch her! ", Xander boomed. The ground shook and windows rattled when he shouted.

Everyone stepped forward to capture the iron sisters but they flicked their wrists and all wolves who stepped forward howled in pain.

"What are you doing? - stop! ", I shouted and the sisters looked at me with a look I had never seen before.

"King Hale, a month ago we had received a prophecy from the goddess herself. Sister Olivia was tasked with delivering it to you. She was captured by breachers and now she is tortured. She can not die, so when they hurt her she feels the pain. An iron sister lives for 100 years. She has 4 years left to live and then she will go to the goddess herself and rest, until then she can not die, no matter what they do to her - you can slit her throat but she will regroup again and live -heal faster than any wolf - we feel her pain everyday because of the queen. She is the reason - her previous alpha has turned the tables around and now we will all pay the price because of her. It is better for her to die or for her to leave the supernatural wolrd. We will consort to killing the queen at our hand if you do not comply. ", she told Xander. He shook with anger.

"You will do no such thing. Leave this place! ", he shouted and they did not budge.

The sisters joined hands and started to recite something. A blue glow radiated from them as they sang.
