Wedding reception.

The atmosphere here was so warm and happy. Children ran between tables and laughter and drink flowed around. People were smiling and enjoying themselves. All worries were forgotten in the moment.

Xander and I sat at the front table. People came to congratulate us and tell us how great we looked together.

Many speeches and toasts were given by alphas and lunas and other important wolves.

Liam stood up and repeatedly hit a fork against a champagne glass.

Everyone's attention fell to him

"Can I have everyone's attention please. Thank you. I'd like to say a few words to the happy couple, "He smiled politely at us and I squeezed Xander's bicep.

"For those that don't know me, I'm Royal Beta Liam and King Xander and I go back since birth. Which means we go back to a time when Xander looked more like Gollum from 'The Lord of the Rings ' and less like the suave man sitting before us. ", i crowd chuckled and so did Xander and I.

"Xander really is the best friend I could have ever asked for. Growing up, we lived a few houses away from each other so he was always really more convenient than anything else. The fact that there was an inground pool in his backyard didn't hurt the relationship either.

But now we sit here 27 years later, Xander has grown into a wonderful man and he's sure to be a wonderful husband to you Rebecca. As long as you can get past his infatuation with Teletubbies and the fact that he went as Tinky Wink for Halloween in the fourth grade, I think you'll make it through anything!", The crowd irrupted into laugher and Liam laughed.

Xander was definitely going to kill liam later.

"I didn't know you loved Teletubbies. ", I whispered.

"I was just a little kid.", He burrowed his face into his palms and I laughed at him.

After a few minutes Xander was asked to deliver his speech. He kissed my cheek, got up and walked onto the stage. The crowd went silent as he began to speak.

"Since we've met, things haven't always been a bed of roses. We always kept missing each other but after countless hurdles, we've finally overcome it all and now we stand before each other as husband and wife. I love who we've become because we fought to get were we are right now.

Rebecca, Honey - my own true love, I can not express just how much I love you because doing that would be like counting all the stars. I've narrowed it down so you know just how much I love you. Here goes.

I love you like you're the last of my kind. It is as if you speak the same language as I, yet no other is able to understand us. To be around you is like finally not being alone - as if all my life I've been isolated, in a windowless room, in a doorless room... and then suddenly you walk in as if strolling over a summer meadow.

How is that you are so much more than sunshine? How is it you breathe life when no other can? Why is it you are my medicine? Who could love me more than you? So, my love, know this - while I breathe I am yours in mind, body and soul.

The crowd swooned and the woman were all giddy from the speech. Tears filled the brim of my eyes and Xander came up to me.

"Dance with me? ", he held out his hand and I took it. Off course I'd dance with him! I'd die for him if he asked.

Thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran played as we slow danced.

"Ladies and gentlemen. I present the husband and wife dance. ", the MC(Storm) said and everyone clapped.

Soon people joined us on the dance floor. Storm and Liam looked so cute dancing.

I rested my head in Xander's chest while he had his ran around my waist.

"You look so handsome today. "

"What about the other days? ", he but my earlobe.

I giggled.

"On a serious note - you look so beautiful I can't even look at you without wanting to take you. ", he said lowly.

I bit my lip and my cheeks became hot.

The song slowly faded to the next and the next and the next. Xander and I was still dancing.

"Mind if I cut in? ", Liam asked.

Xander smiled. He knew Liam and I were like brother and sister. Storm took Xander to dance and I took Liam.

"So Mrs Hale. How are you feeling? "

"Happy. I feel so happy Liam. I know where I belong now. I'm not giving it up...I'm staying and I'm going to fight. "

"That's my racoon. Keep fighting. ", he clicked his tounge twice and I giggled.

After the dance Storm and went to get drinks.

"I'm really happy for you Becca. I am son proud of the woman you've become and I know you're going to be just fine. I believe in you. ", I hugged her tightly.

Soon the music's beat picked up. People were dancing like crazy and the music turned into a trance for some. Xander and liam were pumping their fists in the air and Storm and I laughed.

We joined them and I have to admit. It was one of the best night's of my life. We danced till the next morning. People were having so much of fun and the dark shy slowly turned into a light orange sky. The different hues of purples, pinks and orange made the sky look so abstract but it was still a masterpiece.

The view was so beautiful and calming. The lake and sky met and the night flipped a golden coin. All the couple's and mates sat on the grass and watched the sun rise. Xander hugged me close to him as the sun rose.

"It's magical isn't it? ", I asked looking at the view.

He turned to face me and paused.

"Yes. It is. ", Heooked so full of life. I realised he was talking about me and not the sunrise. He looks at me like I'm everything he needed in life. He sees home and I see a complete soul. There's a glint in his eye that makes me love him even more. I held onto him while we watched the sky.
