The room was packed and the cacophony stopped as soon as the door opened. People stood up as Liam and I walked in.My eyes immediately scanned the front of the room for Xander. He stood in the front of the room with a black tux that hugged his figure in all the right places. His suit was fitted to perfection and I could start a him all day. I got butterflies looking at him.
His jaw dropped when he saw me and he ran a hand through his hair. I bit my lower lip, blushed and looked at ground.
Liam and I began walking and I had goosebumps.
"Don't drop me. ", I told liam.
"Never. ", he said and looked forward.
"She looks so pretty. ", someone whispered and I smiled.
Two children threw petals as we walked and Storm and a few lunas walked behind me.
We walked slowly and I could feel every one watching me. I was on another level of extreme trepidation at this point and I took small but deep breaths.
"I'm going to let you go now, okay? ", liam smiled kissed my cheek. Xander stiffened a bit but relaxed as I walked up to the stage. Liam stood behind him and Storm stood beside me.
Miranda smiled and nodded her head at me.
Xander looked at me with those great blue orbs of his. He looked so handsome. He bit his lip and I knew what he was thinking.
"You look beautiful... picture perfect.", he took my hands in his and his touch was so amplified because of the time we spent apart. Everyone sat down once we held hands.
"You are so handsome. ", I said and he smirked.
Miranda stepped forward and began to address everyone.
"Wolves from afar. We have gathered here to witness the love and bond that two powerful wolves share - in the name of the moongoddess and in the name of love itself, I open this wedding ceremony with love and much happiness. "
Xander squeezed my palms as we stared into each others eyes.
I thought back to a night Xander I spent.
He looked into my eyes and smiled crazily.
"You're my favorite. ", he said suddenly.
"Favourite what? ", I asked thinking out loud.
"Oh well, "he stammered, "Just that. You're my favorite eyes to look at, my favourite voice to hear, my favorite way to spend an afternoon. Fill in the blank, beautiful... I left it at blank for a reason. "
I fell in love with him because of all the small things he does that makes me feel beautiful and special.
"True love is so pure and so rare. It's one of nature's unexplainable chemical reactions.It's the affection that one soul has on another soul.It's innocent and so strong that men are willing to sacrifice their lives over it. ", Miranda said calmly.
Miranda completed various traditional practices and recited many verses.
"love is completely complicated and only those who are willing to stand up for it experiences it. If you embrace love you embrace the world. Xander Hale you may now recite your vows. ", she smiled.
Xander's blue eyes softened.
"I promise to love you with consistency.
I promise you my unconditional love, tenderness, and undying devotion, to not ask you to be more than you are, and to love you for being you.
Every promise I make to you is one I feel is not a burden, but rather a gift - I don't HAVE to honor and cherish you, I GET to, I GET to have you be the person I spend the rest of my life with, I GET to be there for you and support you. It is my fantastic pleasure to be in the position to be there for you my love.
