I stood in my attacking position waiting for him to strike. Xander just stood in the ring carelessly. He wasn't taking this seriously.
I decided to attack first and he easily blocked my strike. He was so fast!

"You took it easy on me the last time, didn't you? ", I asked with sudden realisation.

"I didn't want you to hurt yourself. ", he smirked.

"I can handle myself! ", I pushed forward and he tripped me so that I was on the ground - face first. He held my hands behind my back with one hand.

The crowd cheared and I scowled.

"Accept defeat. ", he whispered in my ear seductively.

"Never. ", I kicked free and pushed him off me. I head locked him and he grabbed my tiny frame and pushed me back on the ground.

I whinced.

"Tired yet? ", he laughed.

"Nope. ", I got up and dusted my self.

I attacked again - this time I grabbed onto him so that we both fell. I rolled on top of him and twisted his arm to his back.

"I win. ", I laughed.

"Fine, fine. You win. ", he said sarcastically.

He easily moved his arm while I held it in place and got up. I realised that he let me win. He took it easy on me because I'm his mate. I mentally scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"You cheated. You wanted me to win! ", I said.

"If I beat you, it would be a problem - now that I let you win-it's a problem. You're impossible to please. ", he laughed and I tried to be angry but I smiled uncontrollably.

"You owe me some muffins, Mr! ", I retorted. That was my only come back.I shifted my weight on one leg and put my hands on my hips.I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I do. I do. ", he put his arms up, surrendering.

"Good. ", I smirked.

The crowd sighed as they were expecting something a bit more - interesting.

"Well, done Luna! ", Kiara gave a slow clap and approached me and Xander.

"Rebecca, I believe you've met my cousin - Kiara Hale. ", Xander formally introduced her to me.

"I have. ", I smiled.

"She's wonder Xander - she's just so... Perfect, charming - just so pure. ", Kiara dragged the last few parts.

"I know. ", he gave me a quick Kiss on the cheek and got out of the ring.

"The alpha lost to a she-wolf, it's actually embarrassing, even if it was just a joke and you let her win. ", Kiara retorted with a smug.

Is she allowed to speak to Xander and I that way.

"I'm joking, Rebecca- relax. I joke around like that. Tell her Xander. ", she edged him on.

"She was joking, Rebecca. She's insane - don't mind her, she's just cranky because she hasn't found her mate yet -", he laughed and so did she.

I smiled and covered up my thoughts.

"I'm going to shower. See you later. ", I told Xander, I turned to Kiara and gave her a fake smile, "Kiara", I said as a goodbye.

"Luna. ", she gave me a fake smile.

What have I ever done to her that she's always such a bitch to me?

I went to my room and began to shower. I was washing my hair and my eyes was closed. I lathered and rinsed my luscious hair. It smelled of strawberries. The shampoo flowed onto my body. I heard the shower door open and I sensed Xander. I turned around and faced him.

"Mind if join you? ", he smirked.

"Not at all. "

He took the sponge and put some bath gel onto it. He began to wash my back. The water rinsed the soap and he began kissing me from my neck to the bottom of my back. I gasped. He was know kneeling bellow me and kissing me. I had to steady myself by holding onto his shoulders. I moaned.

I knelt in front of him and I began to kiss him. My wet, soapy chest was against his and I kissed his neck.

I grabbed his wet hair and grazed his neck.

"Do it. ", he edged me on.

My canines bit into his skin and he didn't even move or flinch. I licked the blood and within seconds his neck bared the same mark as me. His eyes flashed from blue to red to grey and back to blue. We finally completed the mating process and he smiled at me. He grabbed me and lifted me against the shower walls. His arms held me in place as he began to kiss me.

I was drying my hair while he put on another suite.

"Do you have to wear that? it seems so uncomfortable. ", I asked.

"It's uniform and formal. My father and his father and his father before him wore a suit. I'm just going along with tradition. Why do you ask? Do you prefer me naked? ", he smirked.

"No! I don't want other she-wolves to see what's mine. ", I blurted out.

Oh dear. This mate bond.

"Jealous and over-protective. ", he laughed and I threw a pillow at him.

"Oh, shut up. ", I blushed.

"Rebecca. ", he said very seriously.He walked towards me so that our faces were inches apart.

"Xander? ", I asked.

"I love you. ", he cupped my cheeks.

I looked into his eyes and saw honesty and trust.

"I love you too. ", I hugged him.
