Xander and I were so overjoyed and we went to tell Storm and Liam the good news after we 'celebrated '... We walked to the beta's office because we knew Storm and Liam would be there. They usually were at this part of the day.
"Hello, guysssss. ", I dragged the S.
"Hel-", Storm stopped half way and her eyes opened as wide as coconuts.
Her mouth hung open and she raised her eyebrows all the way. She closed it and gave me a sheepish smile.
"Is that a wedding ring I see? ", she was so happy that she had tears at the brim of her eyes.
"We're getting married. ", I said with excitement.
Storm took a step towards me and pinched my cheeks like an old grandmother would at Christmas get togethers.
She began to cry because of the pregnancy hormones.
"Mrs Hale - Queen Luna. ", Storm jumped up and down in excitement after I told her about Xander and I. She was bouncing of the walls and I had to calm her down before she hurt herself.
"He's and idiot but he's a catch. ", Liam congratulated me.
Xander held onto my waist and kissed my cheek.
"When's the wedding? ", Liam smirked at us. He had one hand around Storm and one in his pocket.
Xander and I looked at each other with sudden realisation.
"We haven't discussed all that yet. ", Xander said while scratching the back of his head.
"Oh I see. He took a leap of faith. ", Storm smirked implying he's a hopeless romantic.
"He is. ", I laughed.
"I am not. I just take care of what is mine. ", he said flatly. I looked at him and he smirked.
I was quiet. The way he takes control just makes me -
I gulped and realised we were in public.
"So protective. ", Liam teased.
"You do realise you're a hypocrit. I can't leave the room without covering my legs. ", Storm playfully smacked his chest and Liam rolled his eyes.
"You'll have my head if I look at anyone of the opposite gender. ", he laughed.
"That's different. ", Storm said. Liam knew she was hormonal and tried to hide his smile.
"Coronation is tomorrow, you're ready for the big dress and puffy eyes? ", Liam smiled and changed the topic.
Am I ready to be watched by the entire world of supernatural beings? No, No I am not.
"I am. ", I smiled politely.
"She'll make a fine queen. ", Xander kissed my hand.
"Awwwwww. ", Storm cooed.
I hugged her tightly.
"Xander, Alpha Daniel of Holland has just arrived, I'll take your leave. ", he excused himself and left.
"I'll come with you. ", Xander said. By the looks they gave each other I could tell that Daniel was a grumpy Alpha.
The both walked out of the room.
"Coronation... what's been on your mind? ",Storm sat down and patted a spot next to her.
I moved the loose hair away from my face and sighed.
"Storm... ", I hesitated.
"Becca. ", she mocked.
I rolled my eyes and she smiled.
"Whats wrong? ", she asked very seriously now.
"I've been hearing voices... I'm loosing my mind- Maybe it's the stress from being Luna and becoming the queen- I.", Storm put her hand on top of mine and smiled softly.
I closed my eyes.
"I'm afraid- these voices-", I began to stumble on my words.
"You're worried and I get that. You just need to relax Becs. Trust me. If the voices persist you need to go to the moonteller... Does Xander know? ", she asked.
I mentally laughed remembering the last time we went to Miranda.
"No he does not. I was planing on telling him today but he asked me to marry him and I was so happy that I forgot. I haven't gotten the chance to tell him. I can't even tell him tomorrow because of coronation. ", I wiped my face with my hand and sighed.
She rubbed her hand on my back comfortingly.
"You can tell him afterwards... What do the voices say? ", Storm asked with a bit of edge and fear.
"Something about falling and someone walking free - it's multiple whispers that are not in synch. It's difficult to interpret. ", I said honestly.
She opened her mouth like she was about to say something and then closed it.
"I shouldn't be stressing you out - I'm sorry. ", I mentally kicked myself.
Why on earth am I so stupid? how could I forget the Golden rule - never stress a pregnant lady out! - I whined.
You are insane! - Grace reprimanded me.
"It's alright. I may be pregnant but I'm a big girl. It's better that you told someone than keep it inside. What's important right now is that you get through coronation with a smile so that all the alphas and lunas from around the world doesn't know something is wrong with the Queen.When they go back, tell Xander. ", Storm planned this whole thing out.
I nodded in agreement.
"You're always of sound mind. ", I admitted and she smiled.
"Big smile. Get ready for dinner. ", Storm reminded me.
Oh crap! dinner - we're having dinner with all our guests today. The alphas, betas,important wolves and lunas will be there.
I looked at Storm.
"You're a life saver! ", I hugged her really quickly and practically ran out of the room.
Don't run indoors - it's unlady or queenlike. - Grace reprimanded.
I scoweled at her and slowed my pace down to a brisk walk. I kept reciting Storm's plan in my mind as I went up to my room.
