If I Could Fly - One Direction
Bonus to having a boyfriend with long, gorgeous locks; he uses really good shampoo and conditioner, he keeps a hairbrush in the shower and he always has extra towels to wrap your hair in.
Harry grabbed me another one of his shirts and some boxers before sliding boxers on himself. "Come here, I want to show you a few things." Harry says as he leads me over to his couch, he grabs his laptop and sits next to me. I lie down with my head in Harry's lap as he presses a few buttons.
The screen shows news article after news article, photos of Harry and his family. "As I told you, my grandfather held a position in the government in the time where England was quite aristocratic. When my mum came of age there was a massive a ball was held where she met my father. She was 16 and he was 26. In America the relationship would be criminal, much like yours and Michael's but in England it's very normal to take younger brides as they'd say. " Harry explains.
"Now my father." Harry says as he brings up another tab, he was handsome and I could see some of Harry's features being his but he looks much more like this mother. "My father didn't hold a place in society per-say but he was known since his cousin was Princess Diana." He goes on. "So when my father expressed interest in my mum my grandfather figured if his blood was good enough for the prince, it was good enough for his daughter."
"She was beautiful." I whisper as Harry pulls up a photo of Princess Diana and his father in their teens.
"She really was, I was only three when she passed but my mum would tell me stories about her." He recalls thoughtfully.
"So you're related to Prince Harry and Prince William?" I ask curiously and he nods.
"I haven't seen them in years, not since the wedding." He says.
Holy shit, I watched that wedding on tv with my mom.
"Ok so you have royals on your dad's side and aristocrats on your moms?" I ask and he nods before bringing up another, it was a new clipping from his father's death. "Harry you don't have to-"
"I want you to know all of me Sara." He whispers looking down at me, I pull his down to me and kiss him softly. After the kiss his lips hover over mine like he's going to say something but he doesn't. "My father was successful and I adored him but then things started to go wrong, I regret everything I said to him that night. Having divorced parents would be better then losing one." He says sadly.
"Gemma looks so much like him." I notice and Harry nods.
"I took after mum and Gem took after dad." He says as he pulls up another article. There was a photo of his mother and Gemma with the tittle "Tradition Broken". "My mum saw how insecure Gemma was, when she turned 16 and it was time for her ball my mum refused. Her father was furious but she was doing the right thing for her daughter. She wanted Gemma to find love organically, she wanted Gemma to be loved for herself not her money or her family name." Harry explains.
"What about you? What about the boys?"I ask curiously.
"We were free to do what we pleased which pissed me off, if Gemma was forced into it I should be too you know?" Harry says and I nod, he clicks the next photo which was of him, Louis and their soccer season in high school.
"Holy shit, you had straight hair?" I gasp and he chuckles.
"Yea, a bit weird innit? It started curling when I was 16, no one else in my family has curly hair." He says with his lopsided grin. "Anyways, Louis's mum was my mum's best friend growing up. Her mother was my grandfather's cook so when mum and dad got married his mum moved with them and became their cook as well. She went on to have Louis and Charlotte but never married, she passed away a few years back sadly." Harry says emotionally.
"I'm so sorry Harry." I whisper and he nods.
"She was like a second mum to me, mine never remarried so it was always just my mum and his mum you know? They lived in the cottage on the property and we grew up together, well more Louis and I. Lottie would follow Gemma around like a puppy since she was so much older." He elaborates. "Lottie and I didn't start dating until she moved out to California two summers ago after graduating her 6th term."
"You said that she's changed?" I ask and Harry nods as he pulls up a photo. It's was of Harry with much shorter hair and a massive smile on his face with his arms around a dark blonde haired girls waist. She was smiling too but looked unsure, then I realized. "That was Lottie?"
"Yea, she used to be so cute and carefree, didn't care about the brands and labels. She wouldn't spend hours on her hair and makeup, she was a natural beauty but never really knew it. No matter how beautiful I told her she was she wanted to change. At first it was nice, she'd go to the gym with me and we'd spend time running together. But then when she was at her goal she wanted to change more, first it was the hair color then the lips then eyelash implants and microblading whatever the fuck that is." Harry says huffing and I giggle. "So that's my life basically, you know everything else. Well except.." Harry says as he brings up his financial stats.
"Harry I told you I don't care about money." I remind him and he smiles.
"I know baby." He says as he looks through his accounts, far too many digits for me to comprehend. "That fucking bitch." Harry mumbles.
"What is it babe?" I ask.
"She wired herself 100 grand this morning." He huffs as I shake my head.
"Wow how could someone do that to you? Your amazing Harry." I whisper as I sit up and cup his face.
"She can have it, as long as I have you I could give a fraction of a fuck." He says before kissing me lovingly as he pulls me into his lap.
I knew then that Harry had opened up to me completely and now it was my turn, he deserves to know everything.
"Harry." I say as I break away from the kiss, loop my arms around his neck and bite my lip nervously. "What are you doing tonight?" I ask.
"Nothing, what do you have in mind love?" He purrs.
"I want you to come have dinner with my family."
