I quickly go into the room and look for the toy where the melody is coming from. I look under a pile of clothes and look under the bed.
"I know where it is."Monica says, almost whispering.
"Then tell me Monica. Where is it? Where's the toy. I need to turn it off."
"But I like the melody." she sounds like a robot. She doesn't even look at me when I'm talking. "Ruby likes it too."
"Monica come on!" I say harshly. She closes her eyes and sighs.
"Alright. Evil things come out of me at night, but during the day everything seems to be alright. What am I?"

I stare at her. Her eyes are still closed but she is smiling. I slowly turn my head to face the wooden closet. I get up from the purple carpet and slowly open the closet. The toy is there. Still singing. Singing another rhyme.

Sing a song of sixpence,
A pocket full of rye,
Four and twenty blackbirds
Baked in a pie

When the pie was opened
The birds began to sing-
Wasn't that a dainty dish
To set before the King?

The king was in the counting-house
Counting out his money,
The queen was in the parlor
Eating bread and honey

The maid was in the garden
Hanging out the clothes.
Along came a blackbird
And snipped off her nose

I shake. I push the off button and the melody stops instantly. "I thought you were done with your closet fear." I say while taking another look at the dark room. "Let's go to my room now." I hold her hand and start walking.
