Inside the mirror it's cold and dark.

"So, you found other girls?" I ask, shivering.

Only silence and a nod from the man.

"I...I never got your name?" I say, sounding as not interested as possible.

"Yeah, you did." He says, quietly.

"No, no I did not." I say, insisting.

He doesn't say anything.

"Look! You can answer me now because I will be dead any second!" I shout.

"No.."

"No what?" I say, harshly.

"No! You're not dying now. Not yet."

I stare at him. "How...how'd you know?"

He sighs and looks back at me for the first time in a long time.
"The mirror." He says finally "It didn't have Mary's face on it. She won't kill you. That little kid will."

"S-so you're saying I'm good? And that my friend will be the one to kill me?"

"I'm not. The mirror is. And it's never wrong."
