How could anyone say no to those eyes? I said, "Yeah...I guess I can stay for dinner...But I will have to go as soon as possible afterwards." and he giggled. We went inside together.
Aaand yep, worst choice ever made by somebody who was already in a lot of trouble.
"Oh! Monica! You're here again!" Mrs. Bennet exclaims.
"Hey Mrs. Bennet! Rick asked if I wanted to stay and I really am starving. Would you mind if I stayed for dinner? I have to be going soon anyway."
"Oh sure honey! Make yourself at home. Stay forever if you'd like..."
And that's when it hit me like a full speed Ferrari.
I never told her my name! She called me Monica but I never told her my name. How could she know? I'm sure she's hiding something.
I act like everything's alright. I wait at the table with Rick sitting next to me. I watch "Flora Bennet" or whoever it is cook for me.
I quietly say "I'll be okay..."to myself and take a deep breath.
