Chapter Five: Definitely A Sharpay.
♡ Jessica Washington ♡
School the next day seems to pass quickly, up until lunch. I had Biology and Psychology this morning, which were the same as they always are, just average.
Now, it's lunch time, and I'm late out of Psychology, so the lunch hall is already filled with people. I start heading towards where Olivia is sat, but that's when someone accidentally pushes me and I accidentally bump into someone. I turn round to apologise, only to see that her pasta has gone all down her black crop top and white jeans.
"I am so sorry," I apologise, before looking up to see who it is. Bella Montgomery, probably the most popular girl in school. Imagine this is High School Musical, when Gabriella accidentally throws her food at Sharpay. Well that is similar to the situation now, and Bella is definitely a Sharpay. Bella shrieks loudly, and most people in the hall turn to face her.
"You fucking bitch!" Bella screams. She is definitely a Sharpay.
"I'm sorry, it was an accident. Look, it'll come out in the wash, trust me," I promise, and Bella just stares at me as if I've just done something incredible, like fly, or teleport, or something else impossible.
"It'll come out in the wash?! These jeans are white, and they were expensive!" Bella shouts, and I sigh, biting my lip.
"It will, if you use a spoon or a butter knife to get as much as you can off, and then put cold water through the back of the stain, so it comes out of the jeans-" I start to explain, before I feel her palm slap against my cheek, shocking me for a second. My face turns to the side at the sudden pressure, and I'm pretty sure the ring on her finger has cut my cheek. I move my hand and run my finger along where I think it is cut, and sure enough, there is blood.
"I don't give a fuck how to get it out!" Bella shrieks. Personally, I think she is overreacting, but I'm not going to tell her that.
"I'll buy you another pair of jeans, just calm down," I tell her, and Bella is about to say something, when we're interrupted.
"Bella Montgomery, Jessica Washington, to my office," I hear the headteacher say from behind me. I sigh, before turning around to follow him out the room.
"Now look what you've done," Bella hisses to me as we follow him.
"It was an accident, Bella," I reply, before we walk into his office.
The headteacher, Mr Willis, is quite an old man - he must be at least sixty. He's nearly bald, with only a few grey hairs remaining that he refuses to get rid of. His eyes are bright blue in comparison to his skin tone, which is very pale. He has wrinkles across his forehead and around his eyes, but his small, round glasses cover some of them.
"Okay, what happened?" Mr Willis asks, leaning back in his chair. To avoid talking over one another, I remain silent while Bella tells her side of the story.
"I was just walking over to sit with my friends, when Jessica decided that it would be funny to push me so my food went all down me, and then she tried to cause an argument," Bella explains, and I resist the urge to roll my eyes.
"Is that true, Jessica?" Mr Willis asks, turning to face me.
"Well, I was walking to my table, but it was busy, so someone accidentally pushed into me, which led to me accidentally bumping into Bella. It was a complete accident, I would never do that on purpose," I inform him, and Mr Willis frowns, not knowing who to believe.
