Chapter Thirty-Two: A Gorgeous Male Supermodel.
♡ Jessica Washington ♡
"Good morning," River grins from behind me, and I groan, hitting my head lightly against my locker door. "You're cheerful."
"I wonder why," I groan sarcastically, and River chuckles, knowing exactly why I'm in a bad mood. Some asshole who happens to have a window directly opposite mine was playing really loud music last night until early this morning, keeping me awake all night. And now, I'm tired and I want to sleep.
"I have amazing music taste, don't deny it," River grins, and I roll my eyes, remembering exactly what music he was playing. To be fair, it was quite good music, classics like George Michael were playing, but I didn't appreciate it at four in the morning.
"I won't deny it, but you didn't have to play it until the sun was rising in the morning did you?" I complain, and River chuckles, shaking his head in amusement.
"You can sleep on me in English if you like," River offers, and I roll my eyes, about to respond, before the school speaker system starts talking.
"Please can Jessica Washington report to reception? Thank you," the receptionist says through the speakers, and I sigh, frustrated.
"I just want to sleep," I complain, and River chuckles, before I head to reception. At reception, I see Mr Willis, the headteacher, stood with a family.
"Jessica, hi. This is Chloe and Colin, and their daughter Zoe. Zoe is hoping to join this school in September, so I thought that you could maybe give them a tour of the school?" Mr Willis asks, and I nod. Maybe it'll wake me up a little.
"Yeah, sure. Nice to meet you, I'm Jessica Washington," I smile, shaking Chloe's hand, then Colin's hand. Mr Willis smiles gratefully, before he disappears back into his little office.
I start giving the family a tour of the school, showing them each individual classroom while finding out about Zoe's interests. Zoe is creative apparently, and likes art and music, mainly. I spend more time in the art and music rooms because of this, before I start going round the more academic classes, one of which being the English lesson I'm missing.
When I open the door to my English lesson, I see River sat with Tyler and Tom, clearly not listening to the lesson. At least when I'm there he at least makes it look as if he's concentrating, when I know that he's mainly just copying my work.
"This is A-Level English Literature, they're currently working on the Shakespeare section of the exam," I tell the family, as they look around the classroom. River looks up and catches my eye and grins when he sees me. I roll my eyes, but smile nonetheless. Then we leave the room to go finish the tour of the school.
The tour finished at lunch time, so I say goodbye to the family and head into the lunch hall. And when I arrive in the lunch hall, I'm surprised when I see Tyler stood up in front of everyone. I was in suspiciously, confused as to what is going on. I sit down next to Olivia, who mirrors my confusion. I raise an eyebrow at River, but he shrugs his shoulders, indicating that he has no idea what is going on either.
"Hello, everybody! Can I have your attention for a few minutes?" Tyler shouts, grabbing everyone's attention. Tyler claps his hands, before clearing his throat.
