I better to hide this before Edward finds it said Adelyn as she got up.

We still have time before Edward comes home. It's almost evening and he still haven't come said Carlisle.

Charlie still in uniform from the day at the station. His eye brows is furrowed with concern as he reads the Seattle Times. The article worries him. He checks his watch. The front door opens Bella enters and throws door her bag.

Four o'clock on the dot. Does he have a watch or something said Charlie looking at his watch.

His name is Edward. And now he's too punctual for you ? asked Bella as she starts towards the stairs.

Wait a sec, will you ? sit down said Charlie.

She pauses, then moves to a chair and sits. He faces her.
