I yawned sitting next to Ryker on the couch downstairs.
"Why did we have to get up so early again?" I asked looking to him and he sighed wrapping an arm around my shoulder and pulled me to his side.
"Were waiting on a very important person to help in this war." he said and Dante drifted into my mind.
I heard talking and looked to the stairs seeing Raven and them walk down.
"Good morning." I said and the girls smiled. "Morning." Each replied while the guys just nodded. They all walked in a took seats where the could.
"So after Dante gets here are we practicing or what?" Jax asked.
"Yes. He is going to help us narrow down the spot the hunters are held up." Ryker replied and everyone nodded as it drifted into an awkward silence.
"I still can't believe Dante is coming to help us. He's so annoying." Vivian mumbled and I looked at her amused.
"Guys, don't." Lachlan said and I furrowed my brows. Who exactly was Dante besides her beloved? Ryker basically told me he's a powerful vampire and that's pretty much it.
"But it's so true! And his ego is the size of mars." Ashlynn said rolling her eyes.
"I find the ladies love it." I heard a thick accent say. I turned seeing a man walk in with a smirk on his face. This must me Dante.

"Dante, I see you're still annoying as always." Ashlynn said and once again rolled her eyes.
"Ashlynn, I see you're still single as always." Dante shot back with a smirk and her mouth dropped. She was about to reply when Ryker butted in.
"How'd you get in here?" He asked before she could get anything out.
"Rykando, You should really work on locking your doors." He said with his signature smirk it seems like. Rykando? RYKANDO?! Ryker tightened his jaw as he glared at Dante.
"Well, lets find these pesky hunters shall we?" Dante asked clapping his hands together. The Mckinley crew seemed more tense when he was around. How powerful is he?
"Very." He said looking at me and my eyes widened.
"I can read minds." He added shooting me a wink.
"Leave her alone." Ryker snapped.
"Ahh this is the mate, yeah?" He asked walking to us and extended his arm.
"Dante." I slowly grabbed his hand shaking it. "Madeline." I told him.
"Pretty name." I shyly brought my hand back and smiled in response looking away from his gaze and to Lachlan who looked... off. She watched him with an emotion I couldn't quite grasp.
