{Madeline's POV}

"What are you doing?" I giggled out as Ryker dragged me to his car.

"Well, speaking it's been a couple weeks since we've had time to ourselves I am taking you out." He said opening the door for me and I smiled releasing his hand and got in.

"I'd love to." I winked and he smirked shutting my door and walked around to the other side and got into the driver seat starting the car.

"Wait." I said halting him from going.

"Yes?"

"Am I dressed okay?" I asked and he nodded amused.

"You look fine, gattina." He said and I let out a breath of relief and nodded.

We drove for a bit before we eventually pulled up at a restaurant.

"Dinner sound okay first?" I was about to respond when a growl was heard from my stomach and my cheeks heated up.

"I'll take that as a yes." He said and I let out a laugh.

"I would say so." I shot back and got out as he did.

"When will you learn to let me get the door for you?" He asked as we started walking towards the entrance.

"It's not a big deal, babe." I said truthfully.

"I know, but it's a big deal to me and it's the respectful thing to do." He replied interlacing our fingers together and I couldn't help but smile.

This was nice.

Once again, he reached out and opened the door before I could get it and I rolled my eyes at his grin and walked through first with him following.

"Table for two?" A woman asked walking up.

"Reservation under Pavesi." Ryker said and I tried to hold back my surprised face.

Now that I think about it, I always knew Ryker's last name, but I've never heard him say it. And the way he said it was... mouth watering.

"O-of course, I'm so sorry Alpha." She said bowing her head a bit and he smiled.

"It's no problem." He said and she quickly grabbed two menus and motioned for us to follow her.

Our table was out on the patio out back and it was just us. It also gave us an amazing view of the city.

"It's beautiful." I mumbled gazing at the lights twinkling as the sun set.

"I know." Ryker replied placing a kiss on my cheek as the woman sat our menus on the table.

"Your waiter will be right with you." She said and hurried off.

Ryker pulled out my chair for me and I smile gratefully and sat down scooting in.

He unbuttoned the two buttons of his suit jacket and sat down looking back at the lights.

"When I was a kid, my mom always took me here." He said and I smiled.

"I bet you loved it." I said and he looked back to me.

"I did... and I still do. Plus, the food is amazing." He winked and I let out a small laugh glancing down at the menu.

It seemed like they had a little bit of everything.

"What are you in the mood for?" Ryker asked and I shrugged.

"Honestly? This burger looks really good." I said and he stared at me amused.
