Chapter Twenty Four|| Say yes to the dress

{Madeline's POV}

I looked around quickly seeing the men starting to get back up. 

"Get up, quick." I told McKenzie who was looking at the men in shock. 

"I-I did that." She mumbled. 

"Yeah and I'm going to need you to do it again." I said and she shook her head. 

"I can't." 

"You can." I mumbled. 

The men were blocking the door and there was no way out. 

Ryker where are you?!

One man got to his feet and growled at McKenzie. When his eyes made contact with mine I watched them soften. 

"Hold your breath." I said softly and he looked at me in confusion when suddenly his face started to get red and I smiled. 

"Are you..?" McKenzie started to asked but I looked to another man who stood back up. 

It was like I wasn't myself as a hum escaped me and I walked towards the men. There were two standing and two starting to get up. 

The first man's face got super red and even purple and he dropped to his knees and was out like a light. 

"Who are you?" One asked and all men stood facing me. 

I ignored him and walked up slowly putting my hand to his cheek and he leaned into my touch. 

"Sleep." I whispered and he dropped to the ground. 

I was grabbed by the arm and a man angrily jerked me away. 

"Stop what you're doing to them!" He demanded. 

"That's no way to treat a lady." I replied and curled my fist up before raising my arm and crushing it to his nose. 

McKenzie was quick to reach the other guy and I watched as she kicked his stomach causing him to bend over and she wrapped her arms around his neck before I saw her turn hearing a loud crack. 

"We only needed one alive." She replied to my shocked face and I looked to the man holding his bleeding nose. 

He went to raise his fast when it was caught mid-air. 

"Not so fast." Ryker mused. 

"Nice nose you got there." He added and pressed something on the guys neck and he fell to the ground unconscious. 

"Took you long enough." I mumbled and he sighed walking up to me and pulled me into his embrace. 

"I was so worried." He said and I held onto him tightly. 

"Me too."

"I just don't understand who these men were?" Ryker asked as we sat in his office. 

"I don't know. They obviously knew us though." I said with a sigh. 

"Did you get any information out of the ones alive?" McKenzie asked. 

"We put them into the integration room and came back minutes later and they were dead." He said folding his arms and my eyes widened. 

"How?" He shrugged. 

"Looks like they has some type of poison with them." he replied and stood pacing his office. 

I was about to speak up when a knock was heard on the door and Renee popped her head in smiling and noticed our morose expressions and her brows furrowed.
