Surprise Visit

A few hours after we get home from vidcon I got up and start to get ready to go out. I hear Louise get out of the shower and then music blasting from her room as soon as her door closes. Soon she starts singing along and I stand listening to the words for a minute. I recognize the voices as a British girl group called The Saturdays "Cause if there's a change we might've missed and if there's a ray of light in this, baby you should know that this is where my heart takes over. And if there's a small piece left of us baby somewhere in this battle we have lost, baby look at me cause this is where my heart takes over, over, over."

'Really?!' I thought to myself as I let out an aggravated sigh and went back to my room. I already know there is no more ignoring Luke after seeing Beau yesterday and Maz today but dammit he hasn't left my mind since.

I decided to take a nice warm shower and as I was getting dressed Joe call me from downstairs "Rachel there is someone for you at the door!!" I was so confused because everyone I hung out with while here is going to meet us at the bowling alley or already in the house so who could be here? I slowly walked to the top of the stairs where I could see the front door and I saw a girl with her back turned towards me and talking to a smiling Troye. As I got close I started to move faster when I realized who it was and I jumped on her back screaming.

"MIA!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ARE HERE!!" I said while poking her face when she turned around and we started jumping out of excitement. "I was invited so I said why not visit a new country and on top of that I've missed you!" she said while hugging me again "I've missed you so much" I say into her shoulder and then I grab her and her stuff and lead her to my room.

"So what's been going on?" I ask as I drop myself onto my bed and she follows behind me. "Not much to talk about with me but what's been going on with you? Before you came downstairs Troye said something about you being distracted recently" she said with concerned eyes. "I saw Beau at vidcon this weekend and I'm...I'm scared to run into Luke" I say trying to hold back the tears. "Aw hun. If you had to how would you describe your feelings for each guy?" she asked seriously.

"I really like Joe but I think I still love Luke" I said honestly as she moved over to hug me. "OUCH!" we heard someone yell from the corridor "Joe stop being a baby." I recognized Troye's voice, which sounds annoyed, so the other person much be Joe but what happened to him? Mia and I looked at each other before we both got up to go see what was going on. When she opened my door everyone else was already there and Zoe was looking at Joe with a mixture of concerned and annoyance. "What happened?" I asked stepping closer and seeing Joe holding an ice pack on his knuckles "Oh my god Joe" I said trying to get a clear view of his hand

"It's nothing really. I'll still be able to bowl tonight" he said trying to smile through the pain but flinches when his sister moves the ice pack from his hand to show the growing bruise "That's what you're worried about, bowling? What happened?" I asked as someone brought stuff to wrap his hand.

"I just had a few choice words with someone at vidcon" he said gently applying pain cream and then slowly wrapping his hand "Did you hit them?" I asked more out of disbelief than anything else "Pretty hard actually" he said sounding proud of himself

"Joseph!" Zoe said starting to scold him. "At least it looks like he won" Mia said before turning around and walking back into my room. "Can you try not to get kicked out of places in a country you are visiting? We don't want you to get deported. Keep the ice on your hand until we are ready to go so the swelling will go down and the pain won't be as bad." He nods his head as she rolls her eyes and walks back downstairs and before I knew it everyone else had left and it was just Joe and I

"Looks like you got the person good" I said softly taking his hand in mine and kissing the bandage. "Who was it?" I asked while looking him in the eyes and he suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me into his room before closing the door behind us. I turned back to him confused and noticed that he was avoiding looking at me which got me really curious

"Joe?" I say slowly as I walk towards him "Who did you punch?" I stop a few inches in front of him and he lets out a defeated sigh before mumbling something. "Louder" I ask as I cup my ear trying to hear him clearly "Luke" he finally spits out under his breath but this time I heard him loud and clear.

"Why on earth would you punch Luke?" I say trying to keep my voice down "After you left Maz and me, him and the other boys came up and Maz mentioned that you were with us not too long ago. Long story short- Luke went off saying that I have no right to be with you and other shit while getting in my face. We both lost our tempters and I ended up hitting him in face after he spat on me." I scrunched up my face after he said that because I never liked when people spit on others but it does sound like something Luke would do.

"I have never seen you get mad before" I said softly "Because it takes a bloody idiot to get me really mad." I giggled a little and he looked at me confused "Then how do you explain your friends?" I ask with a smile and he smirks back as he starts to walk closer to me "Only a few people are an exception" he said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.

"But remember love that there is a difference between being goofy foolish and just being a plain idiot" he mumbled against my lips "I'm. Sure. There. Is" I said between kisses before I pulled myself away smiling "Finished getting ready so we can leave soon" I said heading to the door and grabbing the bag that now has melted ice in it "I'll refill this and be waiting for you downstairs." He nodded his head and I headed downstairs and met up with Mia in the lounge.

"So...Joe is cute" she said elbowing me in my ribs and I slapped it away "Yeah he is. He was there when I first found out that the Janoskians were going to be at vidcon with me" I told her while filling the bag with fresh ice. "Aw your own personal savior swooping down in your time of need." she said while hopping on the counter. "Haha it's more than that" I said trying to fight back the blush

"Yeah they were flirting with each other way before that" Troye said coming from behind me and I hit him in his stomach "Hey!" he said jumping away with Mia laughing next to me "Wait a minute. How'd you get here Mia?" I asked and she stopped and looked confused "Unfortunately I don't have the power to fly so I was forced to take those things called a plane" she said sarcastically "No I mean to the house. I never told you where exactly we are staying so how did you find the place?" I asked raising an eyebrow "Oh Troye contacted me over twitter and told me."

Something wasn't making sense to me. How did she afford a plane ticket because I know that they are not broke but the tickets here isn't exactly cheap and she was just working in a retail store and on top of that she went on a cruise earlier this summer so she had to have help but from whom? Troye isn't one to fly someone out he doesn't know that well.

"Ok I'm ready" Joe yelled at the bottom of the stair case and I instantly got distracted. He dressed up his normal casual outfit of just a shirt and jeans with a dark blue shirt, black jeans, black leather jacket, and his black and white converse. "I like" I say tugging his jacket and pulling him closer to me and gave him a quick kiss "Alright stop it you two" Alfie said coming down behind him "You're one to talk. You and Zoe are always kissing" I say as I wrap my hands around Joe and stick my tongue out.

Zoe starts laughing at me and wraps her arms around Alfie and he does the same to her and rolls his eyes at me "Just get in the car." he groans and we all pile into the van that was waiting for us outside and headed on our way to start bowling.
