Vidcon Day 3

What would I even say if I did build the courage to go and talk to Luke? I haven't spoken to him in almost a year and I have no clue where to even start. 'Hey Luke long time no see.' No that will make it even more awkward 'I could start crying or slap him' Nuh uh that would cause a huge scene. I was lost in thought and pacing back and forth as I tried to think of a good way to approach the situation. 'Maybe I shouldn't talk to him. That would be a lot easier than actually facing him again because...'

I let out an aggravated sigh 'Face it Rachel, you know you still love him' I finally admitted to myself as I stopped walking and back up to a wall and slide to the floor. I always knew I did but just never wanted to admit it to myself that I Rachel O'Connor am still in love with Luke Anthony Mark Brooks. Dammit! I managed to figure this out on the last day of vidcon after I managed to go the first two days without seeing Luke but I plan to keep it that way until I make up my mind about what to do.

I decided to keep walking to try and clear my head. "Rachel!" I hear someone call my name as I pass some of the stands. I turn around and see a lady with bright green lipstick on and a short curly brown wig on. "GLOZELL!!" I yell as I run up and give her a hug. "AAAHHH!! It's so awesome to see you. You have to let me interview you." she almost screams in my ear "Since when do you do interviews?" I asked as I took a seat on one of the chairs "I am a guest host for their YouTube channel today." she said proudly "That sounds exciting. Ok fire away!" She smiles and does her introduction

"Hey it's Glozell. Is you ok? Is you? Good cause I wanted to know" before she introduces me "And with me now is Ms. Rachel O'Connor from her youtube channel RachelsRoom! So Rachel how do you like our wonderful country, the country of the free and the home and what not?" she asked while smacking her lips "Haha I actually like it a lot especially L.A. the weather here is so beautiful." I reply looking between her and the camera "Wait say that again" she asks while leaning forward "Oh um I really like it here especially L.A." I repeat myself talking a little louder in case she couldn't hear me over the noise "Ah I just love your accent" she said with a laugh.

I laughed also when I got what she did "Your accent is just so nice to hear." she told me. "I like yours also" I said returning the complement and she stopped and looked around "What accent?" she said confused "Ah Americans have accents too, it just depends on where you are like if I went back home no one would say I have an accent but if you came with me you would have one." I explained "Well shoot I need to come to your country so people can swoon over the way I talk" I couldn't help but laughing, I love talking with Glozell because she is so open and honest.

"So before I let you get back to the rest of vidcon and everyone else...over there" she said while waving her arm wildly to the side "Let's do a challenge. Here I have some marshmallows to do the cubby bunny challenge." she said while handing me one "I've heard of it before and I love marshmallows so let's do this" I said getting excited, then she started the timer and we started stuffing our faces. In the end I ended up winning by just 1 marshmallow and we took a selfie with our cheeks filled before we spat it into the bin. "Thank you so much for having me Glozell, I enjoyed it so much" I said giving her a hug "Of course girl and guys don't forget to check out her youtubes, twitter, instagram, and all of that which will be in the description below and subscribe and follow her okay? Over and out" she said and she winked and sent a kiss to the camera and the recording light turned off.

After we finished her video we talked for a while until I got a text from Joe asking me to meet him somewhere. I said my goodbye to Glozell and started looking for him. I wanted to leave soon so I could sleep and relax by the pool before a few of us goes bowling tomorrow night with some other people from vidcon. I found him sitting at a table with someone else whose back was facing me. I put on my best friendly face and tried to hide the fact that I was exhausted and I put my arms around Joe and faced his friend. My face dropped when I saw that Joe was talking to Mazzi and my arms slacked from around his neck.

Joe turned to me, smiled, and kissed my cheek and I looked down trying to hide my blush. "Hey love. We were just trying to figure out when all of us visiting youtubers should hang out before we start to leave." Mazz looked up at me and stared for a few seconds before I looked away. 'Crap is he going to tell Luke that our group of friends will be getting together soon? Will he try and make us talk?' I started to think before I excused myself "Um let me go find Zoella and the others and see what their schedules are like so we can plan this better" I said as I was walked away. I tried to walk calmly away because Mazz is best friends with Luke and the boys and I already know he is going to tell them he saw me. 'Why am I still hiding from him?' I stop and ask myself but truthfully I don't even know the answer. I guess I just don't want to face that pain again...but I will have to one day.

Soon after we all find each other again and leave vidcon and head back to the house where I got to rest for the rest of the night. Before we all go to sleep we have a house meeting to discuss who we are meeting the next evening to go bowling and I felt a little relief when the Janoskians were not mentioned. Troye must have heard me sigh because he gave me a questioning look and I avoided his gaze.

As I was walking to my room he caught up with me and asked to talk to me "Sure Troye, what's up?" I ask as I sit on my bed and cross my legs "Have you made up your mind yet?" I look down and lean my head on one hand "I don't want to hurt anybody but no matter what I do someone will be hurt."

He kneels in front of me with a sympathetic look on his face "It will hurt less if you are truthful with yourself and with them, trust me" he says as he sits next to me and I rest my head on his shoulder "But it sounds like you have already made up your mind"

"I'm not sure if it's the right decision or not." I admitted "You will know when the time comes, whenever that is" he said while getting up and leaving "I hope so" I said, mostly to myself, as I crawled under the covers and tried to get some sleep.
