As i walked by a lake i saw jaeden, my best friend, on a log crying. I rushed over to him and sat next to him, "hey jae what's wrong?" i said in a soothing voice, he sniffled "sophia cheated on me" he said. He broke into more sobs and my heart broke, i hate to see my best friend upset and i can't do anything to make it better. I put my arm around him as he lays his head on my shoulder,"don't worry some day you'll find someone better" i said as he looked up, "really?" he asked as i nodded with a smile. "Why can't i just date you, your more better than anybody at this school" he said, as my cheeks heated up. After a few more minutes he had calmed down and, we were just looking at the sun go down. "Hey wyatt can you promise me that you'll always be my best friend no matter what, and you'll never leave me" jaeden said, i looked at him and gave him a warm smile "i promise" i said as he kissed my cheek and looked back at the water. I probably look like a big red tomatoe right now when he kissed me, I've always dreamed of him kissing my cheek but never in a million years did i think it would come true. But that's when i knew i wyatt oleff was in love with jaeden lieberher, my best friend.
