19. (Fack)

"Sophia look, I know you like to roller skate but I don't" I groaned earning a glare from her. "Shut up and just put the god damn skates on" she said, I rolled my eyes "whatever".

The line she was waiting in was too long for me to continue to wait, so I cut in another line that was shorter. As I approached the counter I didn't make eye contact with the person, too annoyed to do so.

"What size are you?" I heard a soft voice say, it suddenly broke my eye contact from the floor to the person's face. My voice suddenly started to stutter, "u-um I'm a size 5" I said.

I saw him walk to the shelves with the other skates on them, he came back with a smile and handed them to me. "Here you go, have a nice day" he said happily. I then smiled for the first time today as he said that, I walked away waving as he waved back giggling.

I looked at him till I bumped into Sophia, "okay ready?" She asked as she looked at me. "Well I don't have my skates on so no" I stated as she pushed me, "I'm gonna go skate come when your done" she said.

I sat on a table near the counter with the boy to admire him a bit, I stopped tying my shoes as I noticed he looked at me. My breathing hitched and my cheeks turned a dark red, I broke eye contact and tied my shoes faster to catch up with Sophia.

I stood up and regretted it instantly as I fell on my back, I sighed "I told her I didn't like this" I grumbled. "Hey are you alright?" A person said above me, the person's head then blocked the light so I can see there face now.

Oh god.

"Do you need some help?" He asked, I moved my mouth but nothing came out. He giggled which made my heart tingle, he took a hold of my hands and lifted me up, surprisingly.

"T-thanks" I stuttered, he smiled with a nod. "Since I have my skates on how bout I teach you how to skate?" He asked, I nodded to scared to say actual words.

"Okay let's go" he said, gripping my hand while skating over to where all the kids are at. "Just take easy and slow strides" he said, "like this" he said moving his feet opposite directions slowly while having his hands out.

He then stopped and turned around back to me, "now you try" he said giving me a reassuring smile. I looked down at my skates and thought in my head, "easy strides Finn" I repeated over and over.

I found myself turning back around to the boy who was clapping, "good job!" He said exitedly. I smiled and then frowned as I kept moving to him, "um I don't know how to stop" I said panicking.

Before he could speak I crashed into him, I groaned as I heard the boy wince. My heart broke, "oh my God I'm so sorry, this is all my fault" I said checking his face.

"I'm fine" he laughed, "you just need to learn how to stop now" he giggled as I helped him up. "Instead of you teaching me how to skate, how about I take you on a date" I said with a boost of confidence.

He looked down blushing, "sure" he smiled and gently kissed my cheek. "Here's my number" he said handing me a piece of paper.

he then skated away and I sighed, "wow a what a guy".
