It was a peaceful night. Yet despite that Ying Kong Shi's mind couldn't calm down.

The events that had happened today kept on replaying on his mind- defeating King Hei Feng, Prince Shuo Gang torturing him and Yan Da saving him. But the thing truly plaguing him was the hurt and betrayal in Yan Da's eyes when his identity was revealed.

It caught him off guard. That's why he just avoided her gaze and watched her walk away from him.

Yan Da, however, hadn't walk far when she fainted. Seeing this, Ying Kong Shi was quickly on her side. Carrying her, he looked for a place they could spend the night in.

That's where they are right now. A small cave located just a few miles away from the border of the bear tribe's territory. Yan Da was still unconscious. Healing him took a toll not only on her body but on her soul as well.

Looking at her, Ying Kong Shi couldn't help but smile. She looks so peaceful. Settling himself beside her, Yan Da's soft rhythmic breathing lulled him to sleep.

Deep asleep, only the big full moon witnessed the soft golden light that had enveloped both of them.
