"Your dating that rapper aren't you?" Some girl who was chewing gum loudly says, a smirk on her face as she eyes me from head to toe.
I nodded as I continued to fix the rack of clothes. "Aren't you a groupie tho?" She laughs.
I stay quiet trying to keep calm. "I mean weren't you fucking around with Jay too?" I accidentally drop the hanger.
I swallow a lump in my throat and continue to ignore her. "Your gonna give him a bad rep you know." She pauses. "Besides those two aren't in speaking terms cuz of ya."
My eyes snapped up and looked up at her. "Eh?"
She rolls her eyes at me. "Clueless aren't you?"
I stood in shock, my eyes registering over her face trying to figure out if she was saying the truth or not. With a shake of the head she marched off out the store while I stood there in shock trying to process what she said.

After that a few days passed and I started to see bits of the truth for myself. Simon no longer was in speaking terms with Jay. Jay no longer looked at him too and sort of ignored us when we were in the room together.
I was trying my hardest to figure out a way to get these two back on speaking terms but I had no clue. I wasn't sure how to fix a friendship of so many years. But one thing I knew that was definite it was all my fault.
"Come here." He whispers, holding out his hand for me to take.
A small smile settles over my face but it quickly disperses when I catch Jay looking at us. I could feel my heart throb in pain.
Simon seemed to notice the sudden change in mood and without another word he silently took my bag from me and said in a low voice. "Let's go home."
I was starting to half second thoughts about this whole being in love thing, I wasn't so sure of myself anymore. I was trying so hard to pretend not to notice those little things between them but I could no longer bare to be the person who ruined a good thing.
And for a while as I came to realize this, I decided that I wanted to be selfish for as long as I could and continue this dream like life with Simon.

But of course that only lasted for a while.
I knew deep down I wouldn't be able to live with myself if Simon ended up not wanting to do anything anymore with AOMG. So I took matter's into my own hands and one night as I sat on the couch waiting for him to come home from a show I decided that maybe being together wasn't the best after all.
I heard the door open and when he walked inside he smiled all big and wide at the sight of me. I on the other hand didn't have the energy to return the smile.
"What's wrong?" He asks noticing the mood.
"We should talk"
"Sure" he says.
"Let's break up"
He scoffs, breaking into a grin and playfully pushing my shoulder. I don't smile much back which makes his brows furrow together in confusion. He's suddenly looking at me as if trying to understand what he could have done wrong.
"This a joke?" He asks.
I shook my head. "Why?" His voice sounded afraid.
"Cause I don't care about you" I lie.
Simon took a deep breath, he didn't want to fight with me. All I could see in his eyes as he looked at me was the love he felt. "I don't fucking get it...am I not good enough?"
My heart throbs, for a moment my face contorts in pain and I have to blink a few times to pretend that the words he's said don't' affect me at all.
I shrug and say. "I'm just busy. You are, too. So, it's normal we start loosing feelings."
He shakes his head. "Your a bad liar." His voice sounds hoarse. He stares at me expectantly and I can't help it.
The words that slip past my lips are full of truth and it terrifies me. "I'm in love with you and it's so sad because I've ruined the best friendship you have and I can't live with that" I angrily wipe at the tears as I stare into my lap.
I can feel him staring at me and all of a sudden he bursts out laughing. "Babo!" He flicks my forehead.
Confused by his reaction I stare up at him as I rub the spot with the back of my hand that he had flicked.
"Me and Jay are fine, he just doesn't know how to act when we're together."
I glare at him trying to decipher the truth but he's still laughing at me. "Aish." Suddenly he's scolding me. "You were gonna break up for me so I can have friends?"
Shaking his finger at me Simon breaks into a smile and pulls me close. "But I love you too." He plants a kiss on the crown of my head.
"I thought..." I trail off and pull him closer to me, trembling. "Mianhae." I whisper and hold him like it really could have been the last time.
"Okay I'll forgive you..." He pauses pulling away. "But you and I need to make up."
I glare at him. "No." I say bluntly.
But he's already pulling his shirt over his head. " I have to punish you now." He winks.
I can't help but blush. And after that I felt his lips touch my left cheek softly.
"You'll always stay with me, wont you?"
I nodded. "Always." I whispered as I pull him against me.
