It was more than just a break up.
It was life.
His life, his love.
If something as simple as a heartache could faze him than why should he bare such fame?
Looking back up at the sky he enjoyed the taste of alcohol once more. His senses numbing and the world around him gradually blurring. The pain becoming less and less known.
His eyes blurred too and out of anger he crushed the can in his hand and rubbed the dry tears away.
This wasn't who he was.
He was better than this. No girl would ever break his heart again...he wouldn't allow anyone to come close...not now. Not ever again.
Love was a pain he wished not to discover.
It was revenge he wanted.
The satisfaction of knowing he could have any girls heart and break it all within a snap of his fingers.
That's the kind of guy he was, or at least rumored to be.
At least that's how he lost her.
He continued his drunken stroll through the city night life until he reached a place that caught his attention.
It wasn't the store that had stopped him in his tracks but the person inside, the beauty that lay within it. Running a hand through his hair he pulled the door open and strolled in.
Her eyes glanced at the door before making a double take, she now watched him wide eyed. "Oh."
"You." He points a finger at her. "Come here." He demands.
Her cheeks start to turn a bright pink. "Now."
Reluctantly she sets down whatever was in her hand's and takes a few steps towards him, while Zico closes the gap. He tower's over her, pressing a hand on either side of her as if caging her in. He like's the way she makes him feel as he looks down at her, something inside him flares...almost like his confidence reignited.
"You know who I am?" He asks.
She gives a small shake of the head, no. "Do you want to know?"
This time she looks up at him, the sudden heat between them immense. "What is it that you want?" She asks.
Without thinking he says, "To forget."
And then he kissed her lips.
