"...I remember our hands holding each other, you're the only one I mean something to, under those eyes looking at me, I'm the only one you mean something to..."

(18+ scenario)

I continued my daily routine except I avoided the whole hip hop scene for a whole month up til now. I had no reason to go back at least not anymore. I figured everything would continue being the way it was.

At least it should have been that way.

But I would sometimes catch glimpses of Simon walking outside the front of the store where I worked. He wouldn't look inside he'd just be talking on the phone but I knew it was him, I recognized his voice...I could see through his disguises.

He couldn't fool me.

I thought about the last thing he said to me. Something that had stuck, but what I really wondered about was how could he have said it, I mean this was Simon Dominic we were talking about.

But on my way home from work today I should have not been expecting a drunken Simon at my front steps. Sighing I tried my best to help him inside and once I threw him on the couch I went on to go and cook something to eat. I decided to make something that would be able to get him sobered up.

After a while he managed to find me in the kitchen as I chopped the vegetables I was going to use for the chicken soup. Simon wrapped his arms around me and rested his chin on the crown of my head. "Stop." I muttered as he distracted my cutting.

I was so used to dealing with a drunk Simon by now that it didn't seem unnatural to me that he'd end up sleeping on the steps to the front of my door.

He was wearing a tux today so I guessed they had some professional business to take care of. "Haru-ah." He continued to distract me and I finally had enough of him so after I chopped the rest of the vegetables I dragged him over to the couch and turned the TV on for him.

Once the soup was ready he seemed to be less of a drunk. "Sorry." He muttered as he ate.

I shook my head. I didn't mind the company it's been so long since we've talked it's hard to say that I didn't miss him. Simon was more sobered up by the time we'd washed the dishes and I was half expecting him to rush out the door like he always did, but then I saw him lurking in my cabinet where I store all the alcohol.

"Hey!" I rush over to his side, pulling the cabinet closed.

He sighed. "You're a buzz kill Haru."

I rolled my eyes and waited until he moved away somewhere far from the cabinet. "Just one drink." He urged.

I stood there debating what are the odds something bad might happen if we had a few drinks at home, the worst that could happen would probably involve Simon and my place burning down. "Fine." I muttered.

After a few shots we both got really into this drama I'd been meaning to binge watch and it was really cute seeing how eager he got when the main characters were close to kissing. "He should've done it right there and kissed her, he ain't got game. I'll teach him a few pointers bring that lady my way." He says.
