I stare out at the sky, the cold no longer bothering me. He has a hand over my shoulder pressing me to him as we walk. I know this place so well, but I haven't been here in so long. Yoongi doesn't seem bothered by the memories that this place held. But I remembered so much about it that my eyes stung.
It was back in our old school, at the time we went to a school that was from elementary to high school, I had a crush on Yoongi since I was small and so I fell in love with him from a distance and through the strangest of occurrences we grew close while I was in middle school and he was in high school.
I would write little love notes and stick them inside his locker and one day during the spring festival I asked him to meet me there, I was supposed to confess.
But I ended up being a bit late, and when I had finally arrived at the spot where he was waiting for me...I remember I called out his name but the closer I drew the sooner I realized that I wasn't the only person who was in love with him.
My best friend poured out a tear felt confession, and I stood by watching the person I love walk hand in hand with her.
Ever since then we've been just going around in circles taunted by the past...with what could have been.
Or should have been.
"Why did you come back?" I ask, we step inside the school which is now fully dark.
"It's her anniversary tomorrow." His face looks completely relaxed as he says it.
I follow after him as he takes the lead and heads towards the classrooms. We end up sitting at a desk in one of the old classrooms he must have belonged to, he takes a chair and sits in front of my desk and stares out the window gazing at the stars. "Does it still hurt?"
He gives a soft smile but doesn't look at me. "No, not as much. I just wanted to see how the other part of my life turned out."
I sigh. "There's nothing much here."
He chuckled. " Then why don't you just let go?''
I keep my eyes on him, wondering just where this conversation is heading. "Is that what your doing?"
The question catches him off guard. "Why?"
I point a finger at him. "Yoongi...will you finally let go?"
He suddenly has a somber expression. "I..." The words trail off his lips, and suddenly he's gazing outside the window. "The truth is I want to find someone." He finally looks over and stares me in the eyes. "Let's make her pay." He murmurs.
I gasp.
"Eh?"
He grins, clearly pleased at shocking me. "How?" I ask.
"Like this." He leans in placing a kiss on my lips.
