(Dee POV)

Dee and Nova hold hands as they walk into the Great Hall. The sound of murmurs as they pass row after row are ignored as they glance at one another. 'I love you, Juli,' she whispers. 'Love you too, babygirl,' he whispers back. They find an open row with Key, Latto and JI. Nova grimaces, lifting up his coattails to sit.

Dee sits between him and the others and rubs his knee, attempting to calm him down. 'Let it go, babe. We're here for Ekko.' He nods, taking a deep breath and putting his arm around her shoulder. She re-adjusts her top, smoothing it over her growing belly. He smiles, placing a gentle hand over it and rubbing softly.

'I still can't believe you of all people got pregnant,' Latto says, a hint of disbelief in her voice after so many months. 'Beleive it,' Nova says, kissing Dee's cheek. Dee smiles, kissing his lips quickly. The doors to the Great Hall open and soft music begins to play. Ekko and Noah walk down the aisle, their suits pristine and crisp. Noah skips behind his uncle, waving at people in the pews. When they reach the pulpit, they take their places and face the door, waiting for his lovely bride.

They stand, the doors opening for a final time. Nova helps Dee up and she peers through the crowd, trying to see the woman. She can only see glimpses of her, her braids and veil blocking her face. 'He tell you who it is?' she whispers in Nova's ear. He shakes his head before freezing, finally getting a good look at the woman. 'Mama Toni?!' he exclaims.

Toni smirks as she passes, ignoring his outburst. 'Stop playin'. He marrying that bitch mama?!' Dee flops down, ignoring tradition as she frantically texts her brother.

Deetra: Yo, come get me outta this wonky ass wedding

PJ: Why, what's up?

Deetra: This nigga bout to marry Nia mom

PJ: Wait, what? You sure?

Deetra: She look just like her, who tf else would it be

PJ: Shit, I'm otw

She stows her phone away, refusing to stand back up. Latto glances at her and rubs her shoulder. 'You good?' Dee nods, rubbing her belly to calm down. The doctor's words ring in her ears, 'Don't stress too much. It's probably better if you two get away for a while, at least until the baby is born.' She sighs, taking deep breaths.

'Who here gives this woman away,' the pastor asks. 'I do,' a voice says. Beside Toni, an older man stands. He's who she assumes to be her father but she isn't sure. She looks around as the guests sit, trying to find Nia but she isn't anywhere to be found. She tries to shake the odd feeling in her stomach, squeezing Nova's hand instead. He looks and smiles, kissing her cheek once again.

Dee and Nova dance in the middle of the floor, the music loud but still enjoyable. As he spins her around she sees a blur of red walking toward them. She smiles as he pulls her back into him but looks back, the cause gone. She tries to enjoy herself but can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. She looks to Ekko and Toni, their faces inches from one another as they exchange small pecks.

'It's weird, isn't it,' Nova asks. She looks back at him and nods, her head instinctually going to the floor. He lifts her chin and kisses her forehead. 'It's fine babygirl. She may be family now but you're the only woman I'll ever want.' He pauses, rubbing her stomach. 'You and my princess.' She giggles, swatting his hand away. 'You don't even know what it is yet,' she retorts. 'Yeah I do, it's all I ever asked for.'
