Laon remained silent as he sat on Jisu's desk chair, feeling her dab a wet cotton ball on his injuries. He heard her voice whisper the words 'Idiot' or 'I can't believe...' over and over. He sat still despite the slight sting of her tending to his wounds. He knew she was giving him the look she always gave when he fought: Disapproval. She'd be one hell of a mother because he always feels depressed when she gives him one. Imagine what her kids would feel.
She finally stopped, her left hand leaving his face and letting his head drop. Suddenly, he felt her fingers thread through his hair, his bangs now pinned by her hand. He felt her lips meet his forehead, causing him to blush a little. Affection was his favorite thing in the world but he was confused as to why she would give him a kiss now of all times. Her hand left his hair, letting his bangs fall back to its place. He looked up at her but saw that she had the same expression and her arms were crossed.
"I thought I was an idiot,"
"You still are," She responded and let out a sigh. "I just don't like seeing this idiot sad and beat up,"
"This idiot did not get beat up. This idiot won,"
"Yeah, okay," She said even if it sounded like she was doubtful. She closed her first aid kit and slid it back under her bed. Laon swirled in her chair a little before speaking again.
"Does this idiot get another kiss?"
"Do you think this idiot deserves another kiss?"
"Fair enough," Laon saw Jisu roll her eyes slightly before laying on her bed.
"My roommate is going to be here in a little while. I don't think she likes boys in her dorm room," Jisu said, catching Laon's attention.
"But I'm not any boy! I'm your best friend!"
"You're also my Yeobo but does that mean you can stay? No. You could be my freaking dog and you couldn't stay. Get out, be careful and you better wait until I get out of class at the end of today," Jisu said. Laon smiled. She was harsh but she cared for him, nevertheless.
"Okay. Goodbye, Jisu," Laon felt the name foreign on his tongue and ears. He called her Jagiya most of the time but, despite Jisu being her name, it felt strange saying it.
"Goodbye. Take your jacket this time, my roommate made a fuss about it when you left it," Jisu said, making Laon turn to see his jacket was still laying forgotten on the back of her chair.
"Sorry. I'll see you later, okay, Jagiya?"
"Yeah, okay," She said as she waved him off. He closed the door behind him and made his way out of the girl's dormitory. He shouldn't be smiling as much as he is but he can't help it. Jisu just gave him his favorite thing in the world. He was halfway convinced he looked like a psychopath all day after that but he couldn't truly care.
