Iseul stared at Areum, her hands covering her mouth in what looked like shock. He looked down and was surprised to see a bomb in his hands. I just gained control... What was Haneul doing? He stared in horror, realizing that the bomb was already counting down and Areum was trapped in the same room as him, fear evident on her face.
"Areum..." Iseul couldn't say anything else. He saw that her friends were sat, trapped on the other side and trying to break down the door and glass with no success. 3:00. The time was counting down fast. Then, he realized something. The only way she can be safe... is if I die with Haneul... "Areum, I want you to know I'm too far gone... I'm a lost cause but you can still make the world a brighter place,"
"Iseul?" She asked, like she was making sure it was him. He smiled before walking closer, placing the bomb down.
"You can make everyone see the light. You are God, not me," Iseul said, recalling all the times he had seen Haneul brainwash her into calling him her God. He wasn't sure if she still believed it or not. "I worship you, don't worship me," He said before caressing her cheek, a loving smile present. "I hope you'll miss me," He said before conjuring all his strength to push her in another room quickly, one that'll keep her safe from the explosion, and locking the door.
"Iseul?! What are you doing! Iseul! No! Don't go that way! Please!" Her screaming fell on deaf ears as he held the bomb to himself and smiled at her.
"You're my God. You made my world so much brighter, my star. You made me feel things I never thought I could. I wish I could kiss you one more time. I love you. So so so much," Iseul said, staring at her face through the widow she was banging hard on.
"Say hi to God for me..." Areum stopped her screaming to accept the reality that he was going to die. It meant so much to him. She still thought he was a good enough person to get into heaven. She thought he could make it there, regardless of what he did to her. Tears streamed down his face, matching Areum's as he looked at the time.

He smiled. Areum would be happier. Her friends would be safe. She would be safe. Haneul can't get to them if he is dead. Despite knowing he'll die, he couldn't find it in himself to care. There was a reward to his death, after all.

"Our love was the best thing I had experienced. You made me feel so great. I'm sorry that I did all this to you,"

"Iseul... Please. No," Her eyes held so much emotion and heartbreak that Iseul couldn't stand to look at them but he did anyways, soaking up the last vision of golden brown that he'll never see again.

"Love is Areum," Iseul said, not caring if she heard or not. Love meant family to most but he knew the real love was with Areum. After all, he never had much a family to begin with.

Iseul took a deep breath, a smile always on his face until
Death.
A/N: Yeah, Iseul killed himself and saved Areum. He traded his life for hers because he knew her life would only be hell if he lived. Canon? No. Canon that he almost succeeded in killing himself for this exact reason? Yes. Did they save him in canon? Yes. Glad we got that settled. Also, yes, that video inspired this. Enjoy.
