So, I found this video.
And I honestly think this is the type of shit Rika would be saying to Iseul and Haneul.
You see, because V died, Rika had been heartbroken and so she tried to protect her sons by telling them not to get attached or fall in love too deeply.
She tried to protect them by turning them into heartbreakers.
When Iseul fell in love with Areum, he had repeated these words and his mother's story in his head but all he did was fall deeper in love.
He was so afraid of love. Areum showed him there's nothing to fear... That is until he really did get his heart broken alongside of her own. This is when he realized that Rika was right about love. She was right about how he was supposed to treat love.
Though, instead of being a player, he just closed everything off. He didn't want to fall in love again. Not after Areum.
Anyways, those are my thoughts on a video thats related furthest away from my book. Nobody asked. I just wanted to share.
