Loss of Fights and Drowning

"Ok Astrid truth or dare," Fishlegs said. They were just outside the dome cause it was a nice day and they were all just relaxing...apart from the twins you were fighting over the popcorn and Dagur who was out to kill Snotlout for flirting with Heather.

"I gonna go with truth," Fishlegs looked like his dreams had just been crushed.

"Oh, ok," he said, "have you ever lost a fight and if so, when was it and who were you up against?" Astrid's eyes widened slightly. The twins stopped fighting and Dagur stopped trying to kill Snotlout. This was a question that was on everyone's mind since the beginning of time. No matter how skilled a warrior was in fighting with any weapon, they couldn't win all the time...right? The only person who didn't seem to filled with curiosity was Hiccup because he knew the answers to all those questions.

"Ok if you really want to know," she said before taking a deep breath, " I have lost a fight before,"

"WHAT?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!" The entire gang was left in a state of shock. Astrid Hofferson. Master of the Axe had lost to a fight and the dozens of questions started.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT?!"

"WHEN WAS THIS?!"

"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!" Fishlegs smirked and gestured for Astrid to continue. 

"We were around 10 so don't judge me and I lost it to the same person who lost his leg," all gazes turned to Hiccup who was leaning against Toothless drawing something a sheet of paper. He noticed them staring and waved at them as if nothing happened. The gangs gazes continued to move back and forth between them until Snotlout broke the silence.

"Ok, maybe there might be a chance of you losing to him now, but, HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO LOSE TO THAT GUY. WE WERE 10 AND HE WAS A COMPLETE TOOTHPICK AT THE TIME?!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!" he yelled pointing at Hiccup, "no offense," Hiccup rolled his eyes playfully and resumed back to the drawing.

"No but seriously, how?" Heather asked.

"One thing I picked up at the time, never go up against a Haddock with a sword without a creative battle strategy," Astrid said, "or your done for before the fight's even begun,"

"How so," Tuff asked.

"Not to brag or anything, but Haddocks have a natural ability at sword fighting so if you are gonna go up against one, be prepared, " Hiccup said not looking up from the drawing and adding a slight dramatic affect. Snotlout had the sly look on his face as his hands turned to fists.

"Snotlout what are you doing?" Ruff whispered. Snotlout sent her a smirk and crawled away so he was supposedly out of Hiccup's view. He lay there for a few moment and that's when he struck, charging up to him with his fist held up high for a punch, making the gang return to their shocked and confused stage. But just as Snotlout was about to land the blow, Hiccup held out his fist in front of him, causing Snotlout's stomach to make him collapse.

"OOOOOHHHHH," the gang went seeing Snotlout wheeze for air.

"How did you do that?" Dagur asked in awe. 

"If your gonna take part in a sword fight - or any fight for that matter - you either have to have a battle strategy or be prepared for anything, and from the looks of things, Snotlout has neither," That sent the gang to laughter while Snotlout was complaining on the ground and the twins yelling their heads off.

"THOR'SMIGHTYHAMMERTHOR'SMIGHTYHAMMERTHOR'SMIGHTYHAMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Ok sword boy," Astrid said sitting down next to him, arm wrapped round his shoulder, "if that's how it's gonna work, then you won't mind if I give you a truth or dare,"

"I think I'm gonna go with truth,"

"Ok, remember the last time Dagur came to Berk and we were trying to hide Barf and Belch-"

"Oh I remember that time, that was kinda funny seeing all those berserkers running for their-" Tuff was cut of when Dagur gave him the berserker choke hold. Tuff looked at heather for support seeing as she was only one who could actually get Dagur in full control. Heather sighed.

"Alright bro, you can let him go now," Dagur groaned and released tuff so he could actually breathe. Astrid rolled her eyes.

"Anyway, so we were trying to hide Barf and Belch and when Dagur saw you trying to fend of the dragon, you said something about swimming, what was that all about?" Hiccup and Dagur looked at each other.

"Eeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr," Dagur slurred, "now wait just a minute, it-it's not what it seems like-" he was about to continue but Hiccup cut him of.

"Oh that. One of my last-minute excuses and a true event," Hiccup said switching his gaze from Astrid to Dagur who instantly started denying everything.

"Wha-wha- I -I-I-I-I have no-why on earth-what make you think that,"

"You tried to drown me and an hour later you tried to suffocate me," Hiccup deadpanned.

"Wha-wha-I-I-I-didn't-I never did anything like that," Dagur said but instantly admitted it later, "ok fine I did," he deadpanned, "but what else did you expect from me," he said innocently.

"Nothing else considering that you were and still are deranged," Hiccup said. 

"Got that right brother," Dagur said ruffling Hiccup's hair.
