Selena’s POV:

I couldn’t believe this was happening again. So many things have happened to Sophia and right when we all thought everything was calm and okay, this happens. I quickly grabbed my phone to call Sophia even though it was already late.

“Hello,” Sophia answered the phone half asleep.

“Soph! Did you hear?! Are you ok?!” I blurted out worried. “Yes we know already Sel. The cops called mom as soon as he escaped. I’m fine. Calm down.” she reassured me.

“Soph I’m so sorry I can’t be there with you,” I told her. “I really wish I was there.”

“It’s ok Sel. I’m fine. I promise.” she said. “Besides, we’re going to Canada to see you tomorrow anyway so we’re not even going to be in LA.” I heard her say.

“What?!” You all are coming tomorrow?!” I asked surprised.

“Oh shoot! It was suppose to be a surprise! That’s not fair Sel! I’m half asleep!” she whined. “Please don’t say anything and just act surprised when we get there please!!”

“Haha I will! Your secret is safe with me” I reassured her. “Go back to sleep you dork,” I told her. “Goodnight!”

“Goodnight Sel,” she said then hung up the phone.

I woke up at 6 in the morning to start shooting for the day. After shooting for a couple of hours, it was finally time for my lunch break. I was sitting on a bench that was under this huge tent, eating, with a couple of my co-stars when I felt some little arms hug me from behind. “Seena!” Lily yelled. I turned around and acted completely surprised.

“Oh my gosh!” What are you guys doing here?!” I yelled excitedly. Even though I already knew that they were coming, I was still really excited to see them. I wrapped my arms around Lily and then gave her a kiss. “I missed you guys so much!” I said giving everybody a hug and then I saw some legs hiding behind Brian.

“Boo!” I heard someone say then Justin jumped in front of me. “Hi baby!” he smiled giving me a kiss and hugging his arms around me. “I’ve missed you!” he said.

“I’ve missed you too Justin!” I said, my smile was spread from ear to ear. I couldn’t of been happier to see my family and Justin.

I turned around to Sophia and asked her if she was ok. “I’m fine,” she answered. “You worry worse than mom!” she teased.

“Sel relax, Sophia is never alone. We hired a body guard to be with her until they find Josh. She’s never alone. She’ll be fine,” my mom told me. I felt relieved to hear that Sophia was being taken care of. I couldn’t be ok knowing that she is still in danger but knowing that someone is always taking care of her made it a little bit more calming.

My family stayed for the rest of the weekend and then sadly, they had to go back to L.A. I had to stay in Canada for 1 more month to finish my movie, and then I could finally go back home.

- (One month later)

“Welcome home Sel!” my family yelled as I met them at the airport. Sophia and Lily ran to me as soon as they saw me getting off of the escalator and gave me a huge hug. Brian and my mom helped me with my bags as I gave Lily a piggy back ride through the airport and then headed to our house.

We all quickly got ready to head out for a family dinner to celebrate my coming home. “Everybody ready?!” Brian yelled out so we could all hear him. “Ready!” we all yelled running downstairs. I was so excited to finally see Justin and to have a family dinner.

We pulled up to the restaurant, where surprisingly there wasn’t a pap in sight. “Well this is new,” Sophia said as we got off the car. “I know right,” I joked as we walked into the restaurant and sat at a table. We talked for a few minutes before Justin and Fredo entered. Justin quickly walked to me and embraced me in a hug before kissing my forehead. “Hello beautiful,” he told me.

“Hi baby,” I said smiling. Fredo walked straight to Sophia and hugger her.

“Hey you,” he said. “Hi,” she replied before he sat down next to her.

“What’s going on with them?” I asked Justin I he sat down. “I don’t know.” he said looking annoyed.

“Relax Jay,” I giggled noticing that Justin was getting upset that Fredo was getting closer to Sophia. “Let them have fun.”

Justin just rolled his eyes and then started talking to my parents. We had a nice long family dinner and I was extremely happy that we were all finally together again. We were the last people to leave the restaurant before closing. We said thank you to all the staff and then headed out the restaurant. Lily ran off to the side of the restaurant to pick some flowers that she had seen while we all talked outside in the parking lot.

“Mommy! Help!” Lily yelled and we all ran to the side of the restaurant to see what Lily needed. We all turned the corner and froze at what we saw. Josh was standing behind Lily with a gun pointed to her head. Brian stepped forward calmly and then Josh yelled out, “Don’t move or I’ll shoot her!” Lily began crying.

“Mommy help,” she cried. We could all see the fear in her eyes. “It’s gonna be ok sweetie,” my mom told her trying not to cry.

“Why are you doing this!?” Justin yelled to him. “She’s just a little girl!”

“You shut the hell up!” Josh yelled pointing the gun to Justin. Sophia quickly jumped in front of Justin and me.

“Josh stop!” she yelled to him. “Let Lily go! She has nothing to do with this!” she pleaded.

“I told you, you weren’t going to leave me!” he yelled back to her.

“Then take me! But you have to let Lily go!” Sophia yelled to him. “I won’t fight back and I’ll do everything you tell me to do, just let her go!” Sophia pulled her phone out of her pocket and tossed it to Josh. “Nobody is going to find me now,” she said.

I discreetly grabbed my phone out of my pocket and carefully placed it in Sophia’s back pocket. Sophia slowly started walking towards Josh with her hands in the air.

“Nobody better move or I’ll shoot both of them!” Josh yelled to us. He shoved Lily towards us signaling for her to walk away. Sophia hugged Lily and whispered, “I’ll be ok Lil, go with mommy and Seena. I love you.” she said and then kissed her before Lily ran to my mom. Sophia walked slowly towards Josh while he continued to point the gun to her. He grabbed her arm as soon as she reached him and pointed the gun to her head.

“Nobody better call the police or she will die. I can promise you that,” he threatened. We were all in tears scared to death. Brian, my mom, Justin, Fredo, and me were all standing there frozen wanting to do anything that we could to keep Sophia safe but we knew we couldn’t do anything.

“I love you,” Sophia mouthed to all of us.

“Please don’t hurt her,” I cried, grabbing Justin‘s hand. Josh slammed his gun onto Sophia’s head and knocked her out. He threw her into the van that was behind him and quickly drove off.
