Selena’s POV:
We were all in the car going out to eat.
“Umm mom? dad?” Sophia said, “do you think I can invite my boyfriend, Josh, to come eat with us? I really want you all to meet him.”
“You have a boyfriend?” my mom asked surprised. “How come you never told us? How long have you guys been dating.”
“Well you never really asked mom,” Sophia said, “we’ve been dating for four months now. So can he come please?” she asked.
My mom looked over to Brian to see what he thought about it. “Sure, he can come Soph,” Brian told her. “I’ll show him my muscles,” he teased. “Oh gosh dad,” I said laughing. “I’ll show him my muscles too!” Lily yelled trying to show off her arm muscle.
“Oh no Lil! I think you might scare him away if you show him your muscles!” Sophia joked.
“Sel, can I borrow your phone so I can tell him to come? I’ll call him private,” she asked me.
“Sure,” I said as I handed her my Iphone.

We got to the restaurant’s parking lot and we saw that paparazzi were there. “Brian get Lily,” my mom told him. Lily got out of her carseat and jumped onto Brian’s lap before they got off the car. The flashes from the camera started going crazy. Lily tucked her head into Brian’s neck while they walked into the restaurant.
“Stay close to me Sophia,” I told her while we both got off the car. The paparazzi swarmed us. I grabbed Sophia by her hand and she put her head on my back avoiding to look up. “Selena! Is that a new charity case?! Selena! Selena!” the paparazzi yelled at us. I felt Sophia’s grip tighten when she heard the hurtful words that they were saying.
“Back off!” I yelled to them before finally reaching the entrance. I quickly turned around to check on Sophia. “Are you okay?” I asked worried. “I’m fine,” she whispered still looking at the ground. I knew she was crying. “I love you Soph.” I told her.
“I love you too Sel,” she said back. “I wanted to tell mom and dad today about Lily but I chickened out.” she continued. “Do you think you can be there with me when I tell them eventually?” she asked.
“Of course I’ll be there.” I told her. “We’ll get through this together.” I said holding her hand.
We all sat down at the table and then we saw Justin and Fredo come inside.
“These paps are crazy,” Fredo said as they sat down at our table. “Tell me about it,” Sophia told him.
“Did you get it?” I whispered to Justin as he handed me two boxes.
“Lily, this is your surprise,” I told Lily while I handed her one of the boxes. She quickly opened it up and took out a locket that I had made for her. It was in the shape of a heart and it said Lily on it. Inside, there was a picture of my mom and Brian on one side and a picture of Sophia, Lily, and me on the other.
“Thank you Seena! I love it!” she exclaimed excitedly. “Put it on me mommy!”
“And this is for you,” I told Sophia as I handed her the other box. She opened it up and took out a new Iphone.
“Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!” Sophia said as she stood up to give me a hug. I called Lily over and sat her on my lap and then took out my Iphone. I took a picture of Sophia, Lily, and I and put it on Instagram. My favorite girls! (: I wrote as the caption.
“Oh he’s here!” I heard Sophia say after we took the picture. Sophia walked up to Josh and gave him a hug before introducing him to us. “Guys this is Josh. Josh this is my family.” she said. “Nice to meet you,” we all said as he sat down. Josh was a pretty tall and muscular guy. Sophia looked so little next to him but I could see he made her happy.
