Justin’s POV:
“Honey I’m home!!” I yelled as I opened the door to Selena’s house. Fredo and I had just gotten back home from New York and we missed our ladies terribly.
“Hi baby! I missed you!” Selena said, running into my arms. I carried her and twirled her around as she laughed and kissed me. “Did you behave?” she asked me, scrunching her nose and rubbing it against my nose.
“No. I cheated on you with like 50 girls but I told them to keep it a secret so it’s all good,” I joked, putting my head in her neck.
“That’s good because I cheated on you too and now I don’t feel guilty about it,” she teased, smiling at me.
“Oh really,” I said, gently placing her on the ground and started tickling her.
“Haha Justin stop!” Selena yelled, trying to get out of my grasp.
“Nope. You cheated on me,” I said, getting on top of her, pinning her hands above her head.
“J-Justin get off!” Selena stuttered, beginning to cry. I quickly got off of her confused.
“What is it Sel?” I asked her, as she sat up.
“I’m sorry,” she apologized, running her hand through her hair. “I just saw Tony’s face on you when you pinned my hands and I felt like it was that night again,” she admitted, looking at the ground.
“Baby I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to,” I apologized, feeling really bad that Selena felt threatened.
“It’s ok. Don’t worry about it,” she told me, getting up from the floor. I wrapped my arms around Selena and she buried her face into my chest.
“I love you baby girl,” I whispered.
“I love you too Jay,” she said back, as Fredo entered the house.
“Hey Sel,” he greeted, hugging Selena. “Where’s the birthday girl?” he asked, holding a dozen roses in his hand for Sophia.
“She’s still asleep,” Selena told him.
“Hey, do you think you can convince her to go out tonight? I don’t want her to spend her birthday just here at home,” Fredo asked Selena.
“Oh I’ll make her go out tonight,” Selena laughed. “Let’s go wake her up!” she said.
We all ran into Sophia’s room, and quietly opened her door.
“Happy birthday!!!” we all yelled in unison, jumping up and down on her bed. Sophia immediately shot up, terrified.
“Oh my gosh you people are going to give me a heart attack!” Sophia yelled.
“Happy birthday baby!” Fredo yelled, jumping on top of Sophia, handing her the roses he bought her.
“Thank you love bug!” Sophia told Fredo, kissing him.
“Happy birthday Soph!” Selena and I both told her, hugging her.
“Thank you!” she said, smiling from ear to ear. Lily, who was still in her pajamas, ran into the room.
“Happy birthday mommy!” she squealed, holding a small box in her hand and a piece of paper in the other.
“Thank you baby!” Sophia said, carrying Lily on the bed with us.
“This is from me,” she said, giving her the piece of paper. It was a picture of Sophia, Fredo, Selena, Lily, and myself that Lily drew. It said happy birthday on it.
