Selena’s POV:
“Justin! Stop I’m going to-” and I stopped mid-sentence, hearing the terrible sound of a car’s tires screeching on the pavement and then I heard a loud bang. Justin and I quickly looked to the road and saw Lily laying on the road and the car stopped in front of her. My heart immediately stopped.
“Lily!!” Justin and I both yelled, running over to the road and got closer to her.
“Justin she’s not breathing!” I said, putting my finger over her nose and my other hand over her chest and not feeling anything. “Call 911!”
The driver of the car got off and quickly ran towards Lily and I. “I’m so sorry! She just jumped out of nowhere and I tried to stop but it was too late,” a young lady apologized, crying in fear. “I’m a nurse, let me look at her,” she said, kneeling near Lily and placing her hands on her. She began CPR on Lily as we waiting for the paramedics to arrive.
“Lily, wake up baby come on. Please Lily open your eyes!” I yelled, holding her fragile little hand in mine as the lady continued CPR but there was no response. “Come on Lily please!” I cried hysterically. Just then the paramedics finally arrived and quickly took out the stretcher as one of the paramedics came to check on Lily.
“She’s not breathing and she’s not responding to CPR,” the lady told the paramedic. He quickly took out an oxygen tank and put an oxygen mask on her while the lady continued the CPR. They put a neck brace on her and carefully laid her on the stretcher before putting her inside the ambulance.
“Can I go please?!” I quickly asked the paramedics.
“Sure get in,” one of them said.
“Justin call my parents and meet me at the hospital. Please,” I yelled and then quickly ran into the ambulance.
Justin’s POV:
Everything was happening so fast and it all felt like some sort of movie.
“Justin call my parents and meet me at the hospital. Please.” I heard Selena say. I nodded at her as she ran into the ambulance and then took off. Jazzy and Jaxon were both standing at the driveway crying as Jazzy held on to Jaxon’s hand.
“She was gonna get the ball,” Jazzy cried, wiping her eyes, as I approached them.
“It’s ok baby. She’s gonna be ok,” go inside the house and put on Jaxon’s shoes for me please,” I told Jazzy. She took Jaxon by the hand and went inside while I had to make the very difficult call.
Fredo’s POV:
Sophia and I were sitting on the couch talking, while I rubbed her feet. I saw my phone ringing and grabbed it from the table. It was Justin.
“Hey man, what’s up? Is Lily behaving?” I asked, but the phone was silent. “Hello? Justin are you there?” I asked again.
“I-I’m so sorry,” Justin barely whispered into the phone.
“Justin? What are you talking about? Are you ok?” I asked, a little worried now. I scooted up on the couch and Sophia took her feet off of me and sat next to me, noticing the worry on my face.
“Fredo, I’m so sorry,” Justin said again. I could hear him crying on the other side of the phone.
“Justin tell me what the fuck is happening?! What’s wrong!?” I asked again, aggravated.
“L-Lily. She got h-hit by a c-car. They’re taking her to the h-hospital,” he murmured. My heart start pounding.
“W-what?!”
“Baby what is it?” Sophia whispered to me. I raised my hand up to her telling her to wait.
“W-what do you mean she got hit by a car?! What hospital is she going to?! Is she ok!?” I asked frantically.
“I’m so sorry Fredo,” Justin said again.
“God dammit Justin what hospital is she going to?!” I yelled back, frustrated.
“She’s going to Hollow Oak Hospital. Selena went with her,” he whispered. I quickly hung up the phone and stood up, running my hand through my hair.
“B-baby what is it?” Sophia asked with tears in her eyes, knowing all to well that something bad had happened.
“Lily. She got hit my a car.” I whispered to her, putting my hands on her face, trying to hold back the tears.
“W-what?! Is she ok?!” she bawled.
“I don’t know baby. Selena went with her to the hospital. Let’s go get your parents and go to the hospital.” I told her, pulling her up from the couch and then went to Mandy and Brian’s room.
Selena’s POV:
I was in the ambulance sitting right next to Lily as they continued performing CPR on her but there was still no response.
“Lily please wake up! Please!” I cried, holding her tiny hand. The paramedic was still pressing on her tiny chest. She had cuts all over her body and face.
“Please Lily,” I whispered again. Just then, Lily began coughing and gasping for air.
“We got her,” the paramedic said to the other one. They quickly put the oxygen mask on her and started an I.V. Lily began crying in fear and in pain.
“Mommy?” she cried, trying to look around to see where she was but couldn’t because of the neck brace.
“Lily, I’m here baby,” I whispered, putting my face over hers so she could see me.
“It hurts Aunt Seena,” she cried.
“I know baby. The pain will go away in a little bit,” I tried to reassure her.
“I want momma and daddy,” she cried again, squeezing my hand with hers. Oh god. I couldn’t even imagine just how mad Sophia and Fredo were going to be with me. Crap.
