Justin’s POV:
Prom night was one of the best nights I had with Selena, Sophia, and Fredo. All the kids from Sophia’s school were so welcoming and really let us enjoy ourselves without anybody smothering us. I danced with Selena all night while Fredo carried Sophia in his arms and danced with her too.
After the prom, we all went to my apartment to spend the night there. Fredo and Sophia slept in the guest room together, and Selena and I finally had some much needed alone time.
Selena and I said goodnight to Sophia and Fredo and then went to my room. I took off my tuxedo and put on some basketball shorts while Selena got undressed in the bathroom. I laid down on my bed and turned on the TV while I waited for Selena to go to bed. Selena came out of the restroom wearing one of my shirts and laid down next to me in bed.
“You are so beautiful, you know that?” I told her as I wrapped my arms around her. Her head was buried in my chest as she began to giggle. She looked up at me blushing and I gave her a kiss on her forehead before she buried her head in my chest again.
I pulled her body on top of mine and began to soothe her back. “Sing to me baby,” Selena whispered half asleep.
“Take my hand, let’s just dance, watch my feet, follow me. Don’t be scared, girl, I’m right here, If you didn’t know, this is love.” I sang one of my older songs to Selena. Within a few minutes, she was asleep. I turned off the TV, kissed her goodnight on her head and then slowly drifted away in my sleep.
Selena’s POV:
I woke up at around ten in the morning, on top of Justin’s body. I smiled when I saw Justin still asleep. His hair was all over the place and he looked so adorable. I gently kissed his chest to try and wake Justin up. He started to squirm around and then his eyes fluttered opened.
“Good morning baby,” I whispered.
“Good morning beautiful,” Justin said with a smile on his face. “Did you sleep ok?” he asked.
“I slept wonderfully,” I replied giving him a kiss. I suddenly smelled food coming into the room. “I smell food!” I said, getting off of Justin and running out of the bed.
“Sel, wait for me!” I heard Justin whine.
“Justin hurry up! I’m hungry and you know how much I love food!” I told him as he slowly got off of his bed and dragged his feet on the floor to make him walk slower.
“Oh my gosh!” I exclaimed, knowing that he was doing it on purpose. I grabbed his arm and pulled him to the kitchen where Fredo was making some breakfast.
“Hey guys, want some breakfast?” Fredo asked us.
“Of course we do!” I replied. “Where’s Soph?” I asked him as Justin sat at the counter still half asleep.
“She’s still asleep,” he said.
“Actually I’m awake, I just can’t move and I didn’t wanna bother you!” we heard Sophia yell from the room.
“I’ll get her Fredo,” I told him when I saw that he was going to go get her. “You make the food!” I said smiling as I walked to the guest room.
“Hey you sleepy head,” I told Sophia as I walked into the room.
“Hey,” she replied, still laying in bed. She put her arms around my neck and I carried her onto her wheelchair.
“Hey Sel, can I ask you something. It‘s kind of personal though?” Sophia asked me before I pushed her into the kitchen.
“Sure Soph what’s up?” I asked her as I sat on the bed.
“Well, you know Fredo is older than me and stuff, and guys his age usually…you know, do stuff with their girlfriends,” she said. I immediately knew where she was getting at.
“What is it Soph?” I asked her.
“Well, I know that I’m not considered a ‘virgin’ anymore and I guess I’m just scared that if I tell Fredo that I don’t want to have sex until I get married, that he’ll get mad or something.” she admitted.
“Sophia, that boy loves you like crazy. You know that right? I will guarantee you that, out of anybody, Fredo will understand your decision to wait. I’ve known him for a while now and I know the type of person that he is.” I told her.
“Have you and Justin…you know?” she asked me.
“No Soph. We haven’t had sex. I told him that I wanted to wait until marriage and he completely understood. I mean sure we occasionally make out and stuff, we’re still teenagers, but we never went that far,” I admitted.
“How did you tell him that you wanted to wait? Did he get upset?” she asked me.
“I told him the first night that I spent the night with him. We were both laying in bed and I simply just told him. He said that he respected my decision and that was that,” I explained. “Fredo will be like Justin, trust me. He’s going to understand.”
“Thanks Sel,” Sophia told me reaching her arms out to give me a hug. I gave her a hug and then took her into the kitchen with the guys.
“Good morning sleeping beauty,” Fredo told Sophia as he lifted her up from her wheelchair and sat down with her on the couch. I sat next to Justin, who was waiting for me with my breakfast, and began to eat. Fredo grabbed the plates that were next to him and handed Sophia her plate and we all began to eat breakfast together.
