Justin’s POV:

I woke up to the sound of Selena snoring faintly on my chest. I opened my eyes and looked at Selena who was still very much asleep. The face she was making and her snoring made me laugh, causing Selena to squirm around.

“Good morning sleepy head,” I whispered, kissing Selena’s head.

“No not yet. It’s too early,” she whined, tucking her face into my arm.

“Baby you snore,” I teased, tickling her.

“Justin stop!” she whined, punching my arm playfully. “And I do not snore, I just breathe loudly,” she said as her eyes fluttered opened. I put my hands on her cheeks and brought her face closer to mine and then kissed her. “What was the for?” she asked, blushing.

“For being you,” I told her, smiling back. “Ready to go back home?”

“No. I wanna stay here in your arms forever,” she said, laying back down on my chest.

“But it’s Lily’s birthday today. We have to help set up for her party.” I reminded her.

“Oh my gosh I totally forgot!” she said, lifting her head up. “How about one more hour of alone time and then we head home?” she asked, biting her bottom lip.

“Whatever my princess wants,” I teased, as we both laid back down together.

We stayed in bed for another hour, just watching some TV and talking together until we decided that it was time to go home to help with Lily’s party.

Selena’s POV:

“I’m home!” I yelled out as we opened the door to the house.

“Aunt Seena!” Lily yelled as she ran into my arms to greet me.

“Hey birthday girl. How are you feeling?” I asked her as I gave her a kiss.

“I feel like I’m six now!” she giggled as Justin grabbed her from my arms and began to tickle her.

“Justin stop!” Lily begged, laughing hysterically and squirming to get out of Justin’s arms.

“No you’re six now, six year olds have to be tickled,” Justin teased.

“Justin, you’re going to make her pee!” I told him, grabbing Lily and putting her down.

“I love you Uncle Justin,” Lily said, wrapping her arms around Justin’s legs.

“I love you too Lil,” he said, kissing her head and then Lily ran off to the backyard where my parents, Sophia, and Fredo were already decorating. I noticed that Justin had some tears in his eyes, but he quickly wiped them away so that I wouldn’t notice.

“What’s wrong Jay?” I asked him, confused.

“Nothing,” he simply stated back, walking towards the backyard.

“There’s something wrong babe. You don’t start tearing up for nothing,” I told him.

“It’s just that Lily reminds me so much of Jazzy. I miss my family. I miss my mom,” he whispered, looking to the floor. All of Justin’s family lived in Canada and his mom went back there a couple of months ago to take care of Justin’s grandparents. His dad, little brother, and little sister all lived there and Justin hadn’t seen them in months.

“I’m sorry baby,” I told him, feeling guilty. I wrapped my arms around him and just stood there with him for a couple of minutes before we went decided to go into the backyard.
