Selena’s POV:

It had been over seven months already since the whole drama thing happened with those girls at the club and Justin and I were still going strong and happier than ever. We were all going out to dinner tonight before Justin and I left to Canada to shoot a movie together. I was so excited when I found out that Justin and I were going to be in the same movie. I thought it was going to be very interesting considering that our characters in the movie hate each other. Justin was beyond excited because we were going to be staying with his family while we shot the movie.

“Hey Sel, where are we going for dinner,” Sophia asked me, walking slowly into my room, carefully placing one foot in front of the other. Sophia finally began walking again two months ago. The doctors said she wouldn’t be able to walk for a very long time, but because of how dedicated she was at her therapy, she began walking in a year. She walked slowly towards my bed but then fumbled to the floor.

“Are you ok?” I asked, running over to help her.

“I’m fine. Let me do it myself,” she said, as she slowly got up.

“You are one tough nugget you now that?” I asked, as I walked over to the mirror to finish putting on my makeup.

“Well considering I was beaten since I was two, raped, abused, had a kid when I was twelve, got kidnapped and shot by my ex boyfriend, and became paralyzed and I’m now walking, I think I’m pretty tough myself,” she joked, sitting down on my bed.

“Wow,” I said looking at her, not realizing just how much shit she has gone through.

“So what’s for dinner?” she asked, changing the subject.

“Mexican?” I asked, not knowing if she was up for it.

“Again? Sel just because we’re half Mexican doesn’t mean we have to eat Mexican food all the time,” Sophia laughed.

“Haha very funny. Fine. What do you feel like eating?” I asked.

“Hmm how about Italian? The Olive Garden!” she yelled. “Oh please the Olive Garden!” she whined, making a pout with her lips.

“Fine. We’ll get Olive Garden. Go get ready! You take forever,” I told her.

“Geez Sel, I start walking on my own and you give me attitude because I walk slow. You show no support,” she joked. “And I walked up the stairs. That took like ten minutes!”

“Hey nobody told you to come to my room little girl,” I joked, sticking my tongue out at her.

“Take me to my room. I’m so tired of walking,” she whined, laying on my bed with her arms spread out.

“Ok c’mon,” I said getting near my bed and turning around. Sophia carefully jumped on my back and wrapped her arms around my chest. I carefully walked down the hall and down the stairs.

“Gosh you weigh a lot now,” I joked as I entered her room and placed her on the bed.

“Or maybe it’s that you need to workout and build some muscle on those scrawny arms,” she said, scrunching her nose.

“Get ready,” I told her as I made her a face, and then went to my room to finish getting ready.

“Hi baby,” Justin whispered in my ear as we all got to the restaurant.

“Hi there, ready to work together,” I asked, winking at him.

“I can’t wait to be mean to you and you can’t do anything about it,” he laughed.

“Oh we‘ll see about that!” I yelled, hitting his arm. We all walked into the restaurant and sat down at a table that they had in a private room for us.
