This is a collaboration between the amazing and beautiful poetadventurer and I.
We decided to write 1 story but with 2 perspectives.
Tell us what you guys think, we'd love to know how many of you can relate to this theme or idea.
We know that a lot of people drift apart because they think that the other abandoned them while the other thinks the same thing. That's why we decided to write it from 2 perspectives; to get the full story.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨Part 1 by poetadventurer ; the girl with the magical touches✨✨
Dearest Lily,
A girl like you is a
Once-in-a-lifetime
Miracle.
Every second with you
Is an adventure.
Loving you is like
Entering a maze
With unexpected turns,
Hidden nooks,
Relentless dead ends,
And treasure hunts.
We raced down
Forgotten paths
And collapsed in
A tangled heap
Of laughter.
We got lost
A couple of times
And I tried
To protect you from shadows
Even though
We both knew
I was terrified.
When it was dark and it rained,
We made it through
Because we never
Left each other's side.
Every one of my
Heartstrings
Shot out and caught hold
Of yours,
Entertwining and tangling
Our fates.
Every kiss lit a fire
That consumed my senses
And I knew that this,
What we had,
Was something special.
But somehow,
Along the way,
I lost you.
I turned left
To show you something
And you turned right
To chase a dream,
And I lost my grip
On your hand.
Somehow,
And I'll never know why,
You cut my heart loose
From yours.
It lies here in a
Gruesome
Pile of broken pieces,
Testament to an agony
Sharper than the knife
You used to sever ties.
But I know I could
Never unlove you.
You just walked away
And I'm frozen in time,
Loving you with
Everything I am,
Replaying every moment,
Reopening the wounds
With every memory.
I wish I could find
The place
Where you stopped loving me.
But I can't.
Now you're somewhere
In the labyrinth
And I'm miles from you
And every day I become
More and more sure
That I'll never
Find my way out.Love,
Alec.
