Dear Alec,
I woke up smiling
And I know the
Reason.
You promised to
Stick with me
Through every
Season.
My days were brighter
Just because you were
Here.
You lightened my world
By wiping away my
Tears.
The last thing I'd hear
Every day was the
Rhythm of your
Heart.
Promising me, telling
Me that we'll never be
Apart.
But somewhere along
The way that promise
Was broken...
Shattering in return
All the words you've
Spoken...
Remember when you
Told me you'll always
Hold my hand...
Well I looked away and
You let go, leaving my
Life bland.
Remember when you
Said you'll wipe away
My tears...
Well I blinked and you
Were gone, consuming
Me in my fears...
Life was a trip we
Promised we'd both
Take...
But apparently it was
A dream. And now I'm
Awake...
You and I were supposed
To be on the same
Boat....
But you grew
sea-sick, you left
Without a note
I'm gonna re-trace
Our steps to see
Where we went
Wrong
Or maybe you
Weren't with me
All along...
I need you back
Because your
Lily wilted..
But don't come back
Only because you
Feel guilted....
Each day we're separated
With every single
Mile...

Down; remembering
