We were a fairytale, you and me
And it made me blind, although I could see
We were on our way to being on top
But unfortunately everything comes to a stop
Me and you, we were living a dream
Like it was a part of a scheme
We used to be happy and content
But words were broken and promises bent
You gave me my smile then took it away
Made me speechless and I don't know what say
You said that I'll never be in the way of harm
Yet I find you happy and ecstatic in her arms
I couldn't speak, and I couldn't try
Couldn't open my mouth to ask "why?"
Couldn't even believe that this is real
Did you ever care about how I feel?
I left that place with a broken heart
Its strings frozen and I can't restart
I tried to stop the tears of my eyes
But I just stopped after my failed tries
I was a wreck, shattered and shaking
My soul died; my love breaking
I couldn't believe what I just saw
Will his frozen heart every thaw?
This is what happens when you hang your happiness on a man
You'll be utterly disappointed, like a kid missing the ice cream van
This is what happens when you blindly trust
Falling to disappointment becomes a must
He didn't even chase me or come after me
I waited a few hours just so I could see
But hours became days and I stopped looking at the door
I just threw all his stuff on the garden floor
Don't you ever come close to me ever
I hope you two enjoy being together
Because I've had enough of your deceitful lies
Your broken promises and foreshadowing goodbyes
I'm gonna go my own way now
Don't ask me where or when or how
My life isn't your business anymore
And you don't have power over me life before
