He said, "Don't you feel lonely living in your own little world?"
She whispered, "Don't you feel powerless living in other people's worlds?"
The young boy opened his mouth to answer, but stopped. The woman was right. He was powerless in other's worlds. But the thing is...
"I don't know how to be alone... Or to create one..."
The woman laughed at his words. She once was like him after all! Though a little more... Wild to say.
"What is your name, child?"
The boy blsuhed before sighing. He hated his name. It was a girlly name... He got picked one because of it... Alot...
"My name is Alice," Alice finally told the mad woman.
She just smiled more widely. She then tipped the end of her faded purple top hat as she spoke.
"Whag a lovely name, Alice. Call me... Mad Hatter."
Mad Hatter untied a golden locket around her neck and gave it to Alice. There were the initials W.L.
The boy gave a confused look as too why the woman would give him a locket. Him of all people!
"Wonderland awaits you... After this, maybe you can find your own way home."
Alice giggled a little at his new friends words. Though he was ready to see this Wonderland.
