The Stars

I look at the beautiful world below me as night slowly falls.

I wait for people to gaze upon me in wonder and peace. Though I knew it would be short lived when Allura came out.

I am the stars in her endless night sky. I just wish people looked at me other than when they are lost!

I look down again to see few people even looking up at the sky. Even still they seemed bored or just trying to have a romantic date with someone.

I sighed as a few of my lights began to dim. I looked back down to see a small group of humans looking up at me. Talking...

"Isn't it a beautiful night?" A man with black and white hair asked the others.

"Yeah... It is, Shiro." A big man wearing a yellow bandanna agreed with a smile.

"I wish we could see the stars every night." A boy wearing a red jacket said.

His words gave me a little... Just a little bit more happiness. I liked people like him.

"It's amazing how so many planets and stars make up one galaxy... Specially to make such a lovly night." A small girl sighed out.

"Palaidins! Come on you have a game tomorrow!" A skinny, red haired man yelled as he rushed over.

"Yeah, yeah. We're coming Coran." Shiro grumbled as he pushed himself up.

Soon the small group left. I felt sad that they had to leave, but they had a... Game? Maybe I should see what that was.

Hours passed and soon it was dawn. Instead of going to sleep as I usually do, not that I need to. I went down to earth.

Hiding behind a tree, I changed my form to that of a human. My snow white became a dirt brown. My skin stayed the same, just that it no longer had the markings of the sky. Then my clothes changed to a gray shirt and dark blue pants.

Slowly I walked over to the school that the small group goes to. Sometimes they would play their games here. If I was right, they would play here today.

I leaned against the wall and started to close my eyes when a hand slammed down on my shoulder.

"Look what we got here!" A human wearing all black sneered.

"Well, you have eyes, so I guess you can look at me. Though, I can't blame you." I flirted with them.

The small gang of people seemed surprised by my words, but seemed angry none the less.

"Why you-"

"Hey! Is something wrong here?" A voice asked them.

The gang that seemed to have pinned to the wall paled a bit. Instantly they backed off and stuttered out apologies.

"You okay?" A deep voice asked me.

Looking up, I saw it wa Shiro! He gad worry in his eyes as she seemed to check me over.

"Yeah, I'm perfectly fine! Thanks for the help, Mister!" I smiled at him as he chuckled.

"The names Shiro." He pointed out his hand, a warm smile on his face.

"Just call me Lance." I took his hand and shook it.

"Lance? Thats a weird nickname. Does your family call you that?"

I chucklrd as I pulled my hand away from his.

"Yeah, but I don't mind. Its really nice... So I... Um... I'm kind of new around here..." I told, acting very shyly.

He smiled widely before laughing softly.

"Thats okay, I can show you around."

"I'm not in the school yet though." I whispered.

He just smiled and laughed.

"It's alright. Lets see if you'd like it here first. Maybe you can come and see our game too!"

"Sure!"

This... This feels good.
