Water and Fire (Avatar AU)

Lance and Keith were at it again! Those two don't have anything better to do? Pidge thought as she glare at the two boys in front of her. 

They were seeing who was stronger, physically. About half an hour earlier, those two were testing their skills. The fire bender winning with ease as he had knocked the north water bender down on his bum. It was very funny. Now, though, it was just annoying as hell!

"Will you two knock it off!" Yelled the angered earth bender as she shot a ping ball sized rocks at the taller male's head. 

Lance easily shot it down with one of his icicle. His blue eyes glared in her hazel ones.

"What the heck, Pidge!" He telled in anger.

Keith took this chance and knocked the other down.

"Don't lose focus." Growled the shorter male.

Lance sighed as he relaxed in defeat. He guessed that the other was just better than him. Though when theu hit the battlefield... That is when all can go wrong...

Keith and Lance were back to back! None of their oppents knew what hit them!

From Lance's water and ice slashes to Keith's intense fire and purple lightning.

Together the two can take out almost anyone! Yet when its just thosd two, they are jusg so different!

Lance is loud, cocky, and flirtous! He is more woman than man in certain areas and complains about everything!

Keith though, is quiet, confidant (not cocky), and is very serious. He trains hard everyday so that he could be prepared for anything! And he doesn't really complain, after all he adapts more easily.

Total opposites, just like their bending. Lance being water and ice, Keith being fire and lightening. Opposite though perfect for each other.

As the two fought, they seemed to be more with each other... Like without saying anything, they already do as that would be required at the moment. Even if just for a moment.

"Keep it together, team!" Shiro yelled out to his friends as he air bended his opponents.

"Sure thing!" Pidge yelled as she used her metal bending skills to her advantage.

Hunk, another earth bender, encased a few of the Galra nation's troops before going on offense.

Even when everyone worked together, no one could rival that of Lance and Keiths.

Later that night the two still hadn't said a word, but they smiled at each other. Not the usual cocky or still smiles, but happy, peaceful smiles!

"Hey, you two alright?" Hunk asked, worried for his friends.

"Yes, it has seem as though you two have yet to speak... But are happy?" Allura, an Altean woman who pin points the weak spots on your body to take you down, agreed with the cubby earth bender.

"Nothings-" Lance began, only to stop as Keith finished it.

"Wrong. We're-"

"Just thinking-"

"That we should-"

"Head into town and-"

"Get something to eat!"

Both of them smiled at each other sweetly as they seemed to be laughing at everyone's confused faces.

Before anyone could say anything, the two boys were gone.

"Can we get one thing of sushi and a bowl of lo main?" Keith asked in his best girl voice.

The man that worled at the little restaurant nodded as he wrote down the order. Keith then went up to his date and laid his head on his arm. Sometimes being short and having long hair is good.

"I love you, Keith." Lance whispered into his boyfriend's ear.

Lance and Keith normally fight, but they never get physically hurt when they do so. Plus, they love each other too much for that to happen. Besides, they some how have the ability to talk in their heads, only when fighting though.

"Order up for Kelli gan." The man yelled out, making Lance and Keith walk up together.

They were well known. But no one knew what they looked liked. So... They could go out and have some dinner without worry, most nights.
