Dipper was the God of the Night Stars. He was always shrouded in a cloak made of darkness with the glimmers of stars in it. He, himself was a pale skined god with black eyes and brown hair. He had a twin sister, but she was the Goddess of the Moon. She was always noticed by the men of the world below. The world they both watch over.

He sighed as he saw Bill, the God of the Light and Creavity. He was much older and stronger than the two twins. The only other ones to almost be as old as Bill were Ford and Stan, the olden gods of The Night. Sadly, the two only had enough time to tell of how to do their jobs and to stay away from the powerful god.

Slowly, Dipper moved away from the ancient god's burning light. He was specially told not to go near him, or his light for Bill would kill him. The God of the stars did not know why they had not told Mabel this, but he had guessed it was because he was his sister's only weakness as the two would fight every hundred years or so.

"Bro-bro! Hey, how have ya been?" A young teen looking girl bounced up to the other, her voice a soft whisper.

They only ever spoke to him in a whisper. He did not care, he did not like a lot of loud noises.

"I am good, my sister. I am hoping you have had the same?" He knew the answer.

"Yes! Amazing in fact, I am going on a date tomorrow night," She started, a longing look in her dark brown eyes.

"Who is it with?" He asked, hoping it wasn't Gideon, the God of Tricks.

"It is with Pacifica, she said that she had liked me for some time so she had made some animals in my favor. Plus I love all the animals that she had made!" Mabel spoke with love in her voice of the Goddess of Animals.

"Then go get ready, you want to look amazing for the Goddess of animals, sister. Go and be you, my moon." Dipper whispered to her as he continued to hide in his cloak.

The bright goddess smiled even more happily as she hurried off to get ready for the night. Every month she went on these dates, leaving the sky to her brother. He does not mind this, though he does not like it.

With a sigh, Dipper waited until nightfall. Once Bill had left his side of the world, he went to the Goddess of song, Melody. She was the wife of Soos, the God of Inspiration.

"Need a little song to ease the pain?" She asked, already knowing what he was going to ask.

"Yes, please."

The Goddess nodded as she cleared her throat. She always did this.

"He says, 'Save me, save me,'

She says, 'Maybe, maybe,'

She starts to turn away when he says,

'Hate me, break me,

Let me feel as hurt as you.

Push me, crush me,

But promise me you'll never let us go.'

Hate me, break me,

Then save me, save me.

Push me, crush me,

Then save me, save me.

She stops walking, walking.

He stops falling, falling." The music was enchanting. Eerie.

"He looks her in the eyes and he says,

'Hate me, break me.

let me feel as hurt as you.

Push me, crush me,

but promise me you'll never let us go.'

Hate me, break me,

Then save me, save me.

Push me, crush me.

Then save me, save me." Dipper liked this song better than any other song she had sang him.

"Push me, crush me

Then save me, save me...

Hate me, break me

Then save me, save me

Push me, crush me

Then save me, save me

He says 'save me, save me'

She says 'maybe, maybe…'

He says...

Hate me, break me

Let me feel as hurt as you

Push me, crush me

But promise me you’ll never let us go."

Dipper politely clapped as he smiled a little more cheerful.

"That was lovely, Mrs. Melody."

The woman laughed at him before shooing him out. It was after all turning dawn.

Dipper waved good bye and flew back to the sky as fast as possible. He knew he had to be away from the other God, but he... Didn't really want to.

Slowly, Dipper stopped... And returned to the forest. He used his cloak to hide him still. He knew that if any mortal or god saw him during the day, they would think nothing of it. After all the stars are dimmer during that hour.

He looked at all of the wild life in the shining light of Bill's magic. He was awed how the magic of one god could make such beauties!

"What a lovely creature." He muttered as a dark colored butterfly landed on his noise. Everything just... Awed him!

"Well, not as lovely as you." A deep voice said behind the young god.

Startled, the young god hid behind a pine tree to see Bill in his human form.

"H-hello..." Dipper pulled his cloak hood a little more over his face.

The other god laughed at the sight. He liked how shy this other god was being. Yes, he knew that the boy was a god, but he'll pretend not to know. For now.

"Come, join me on a walk, Pinetree." Bill held out a hand in good will.

Dipper slowly, very hesitantly, walked out from behind the tree. He was nervous as he had not talked with that many gods before... It normally was family friends...

"Heh, shy aren't you?" The blonde haired god stated with a cheerful smile.

"I-I haven't talked w-with that many people, sir."

Bill laughed at how soft spoken the young god was to him.

"It is jusr Bill, Pinetree." The olden god spoke with kindness.

"Pinetree? Why do thee call thy Pinetree?"

Bill laughed at how the god spoke. No one had spoken the tounge in years.

"Because your click on your cloak is of a small Pinetree and you hide behind one as well." Explained the other male.

Dipper gave a small laugh walking slightly closer to the other god.

"Very funny, Goldie." He smiled lightly.

For days on end, Dipper would always meet with the older god. His heart slowly began to yearn to be held by the other god. Yet... He knew he could not.

"Pinetree? Is something wrong?" Bill had noticed how quiet and sad the other was.

"Bill..." The boy looked at the ground. "I-I love you..." The young god was about to turn and run for it, but the golden haired god appeared in front of him.

He pulled the God of Night close to him and kissed his body.

"I love you too, Dipper Pines." The older of the two whispered before he claimed the others lips.

They kissed each other until the sun had to go away. This time, instead of going away alone, Bill held his love close to him as the sky fell into the gorgeous night.

They would be together forever... Just as Ford had promised thousands of years ago...
