Dipper sighed as he flew over the city. It was a sunny day and no demon could be seen for him to pester.
Dipper was a scholar angel. Meaning he was right there with the Archangels. The only difference is that scholar angels are more like curious creatures. They like to learn.
Even in this group Dipper was different. He didn't go looking for fairies or wonder about unicorns... He liked to study demonic creatures, like gnomes or actual demons. Over the last four years of him being able to be 'in the field', all demonic creatures knew how he worked.
He would basically annoy them to where they just spill their guts. Or, he would watch them for a while in the shadows. For an angel, he was very sneaky.
Flying through the air, the scholar angel sighed once again. It had been days since he had something to do. Shaking his head, he glided his way to a human high school to look at his human.
Unlike popular beliefs, angels and demons had only one human and never shared them. Meaning you only had an angel or only a demon on your shoulder. The thing was, you had the choice to listen to them or follow your own heart. It was nice really, gave the humans more options.
Once in the school, he folded his wings closely to his body so they wouldn't whack anyone.
"Hey, Mason!" A brown haired girl that looked Dipper's twin yelled out. The male smiled at Mason's friend's ways. She was one of the luckily few that had both angel and demon. Yet again, they normally get along so she acted more like his sister as well.
"Hey, Madison. What's going on?" The human boy asked as he held a book close to his chest.
"Well, me and Fred are going on a date next Saturday!" The hyped girl squealed.
"Just warn him to not break your heart." The boy told his friend with a cheerful smile.
"Ugh! Can't there be anything going on?" Screeched a voice that I knew well.
"Sorry, eyeball, but you won't touch my human." The brown haired angel warned, getting his spear ready for a fight.
The weird looking demon growled as he lunged at the scholar, likely being new to the surface. Rolling his eyes, the boy sent the worthless demon away from his person and into Mason's biggest bully, Gideon Gleeful.
Another type of demon, this one though is somewhat different. These types of demons are more rarer than the two beings per human. It is more commonly known as your doppelganger. They look like and act like you, but the way they speak is different.
"Hey! Who did that!" Shouted the crude human, causing everyone to freeze. His beady blue eyes landed on Mason as he just stared at him with fear.
"Now, this is interesting!" Hissed the awful demon.
Groaning slightly, Dipper leaned into the human's ear and whispered, "Fight, he has non power over you or anyone else. Besides, if he touches you, you have witnesses to say it was out of self defense."
For a moment the boy was even more scared looking as the fat chubby male tried to loom over him. Then he smirked.
"What are yo going to do? Give me a hug?" He asked with innocence, surprising not only his bully but the crowd as well.
"No, I'm going to give you a beating!"
"But why? I wasn't even near you to make you fall... Why do you even hurt people? Are you that damage to hurt others?" Questioned the nerdy human.
Gideon paused, obviously not even knowing himself. It was kind of rare to have an evil doppelganger yet be good, so it was clear that he was trying to find out why he does what he does.
