I faintly heard the sound of music outside my small cottage like home. It was most likely three in the  morning, so I was a bit confused. Then... I heard the front door slamming shut.

Not thinking twice, I bolted up and ran down the stairs. I should've locked the door! God dang it!

I felt my body slam into a wall as I tried to round a corner. Even though I felt the pain, I still dashed.

Once to the door, I saw it was still a jar. Fear spread it's icy fingers around my body as my heart stopped.

I ripped open the doo and rushed to the ice-cream truck. A little girl was standing in front of it, no older than four.

"Blueberry Frisk Dobra!" I yelled as I pulled my baby away from the hooded ice-cream man.

His visible skin was as pale as the dead though as strong looking as a living man. His aura was unfriendly... But faintly familiar...

"S-Sorry, s-sir... But it's too early to have i-ice-c-cream... K-Keep the m-money she g-gave you..." I whimpered out, my little daughter hugging me sweetly.

I waited for his respone, but all I saw was a gleaming smile. A smile with sharp, dagger like teeth, tainted crimson... In the moonlight, this detail did not ease me... It made me nervous...

"Now problem, Snowdrop," My eyes widen as I took a step back from the man. I never said my name. "I just wanted to see if you still wanted to dance... Cards."
