(HOSOEK)
Hosoek's heart beat a severe tattoo against his chest as he heard leaves crunch underneath slow footsteps. The footsteps neared and abruptly stopped with a sigh. The day he feared for had come.
According to him nothing ever lasted. Not even friendship or love. And it was always because of time.
Time eroded relationships and made them into a fading soul on its way to oblivion. Time never healed, it just took and took everything you ever had, even the happiest of moments you have had fades away with time. Time was a slut that never could be satisfied.
And like always, time took the only thing he kept close to his heart; this sanctuary, this place. Someone else had found it. A burning rage rose up in him like a tidal wave at the person who invaded the place, the only place in this world that he could be himself. Not even the place he stayed in was completely his. No, he was not giving up anything this time.
He was about to get up angrily to confront the person and tell them to get the fuck off his place when soft snores pierced the air.
He was startled.
They came here, only to sleep?
How many times had they come here, if they felt comfortable enough to sleep? A frown made way into Hosoek's face when he heard sleep talk coming from the invader.
Hoseok slowly got up, so that he would not make a sound to wake the other. No matter what a jerk the other person was, he had always thought that waking up people from their sleep was harsh. They deserved to rest and be in places where only dreams could take them, where nobody would judge them and they had their own little reality.
Moonlight shone in through the trees and Hosoek saw the invaders face for the first time. The utter innocence on the man's face made him forget about his worries for a second. The man was pale as the moonlight, his silver hair caught the moonlight in a way that seemed ethereal, his pouty lips were pale but with a pinkish tint and what caught his attention the most were the man's eyes.
Small black lashes couldn't hide the dark circles underneath it, much like his own. Despite this, the man looked like an angel, silvery glow and all.
Hosoek immediately hated him.
Hoseok couldn't make a decision; to let the man have his sleep or kick him off his territory for trespassing. The situation was beginning to annoy him when the man suddenly began stirring in his sleep.
Hoseok watched in nonchalance as the sleeping man began whimpering.
What a baby.
Hoseok huffed in disbelief as the man began shedding tears in his sleep. He knelt on the grass beside the man intrigued as he began to talk.
The words the man spoke next, made him remember a colorful day in an amusement park when his world turned upside down. The day, he had lost all hope in the world. It made him scramble back suddenly, heart in throat and tears threatening to spill as a hundred emotions were let out of his tightly shut pandora box.
The sleeping man tossed and turned in a restless sleep, bruising himself unintentionally, repeating the same words over and over again. Words that made Hoseok want to scream in pain. He remembered a boy huddled against the same tree, many seasons before, screaming the same words into the quiet night air.
"Eomma, please."
