We cry for those we've lost
We cry for those that've died
We cry for those heroes that had great good inside
We weep for things long gone
We weep for things we haven't found
We weep for things that were ne'er around
But do we experience sadness for the ones that are still alive
The ones that still breathe and see and feel?
Do we have woe for the ones that are still alive
But have never gotten to live?
I don't believe we do, but when they are gone
I do believe we'll wish that fact wasn't true
