We're all held captive here by the sun
Round and round the only one
It made its way up high
Gliding through the light blue sky
Hoping now it doesn't stop and make us die
Well I reach out for the one seeking reason why
The earth keeps going but the living they die
I beg forgiveness from the hell; I can only sigh
Thinking we're all held captive here by the sun
We go round and round we're not the only ones
I scream outside I hike the hills
While with brightness the earth it fills
It takes us all and it makes us hot
Back breaking labor that's all we got
Till the moon comes up and the dark comes out
Well the sun does scorch but what would we do without?
So I know that we're all held captive here by the sun
Well, we can't escape but we're not the only ones
